In another thread there was a discussion about how do we know a member died, committed suicide, committed murder/suicide, was arrested/incarcerated, banned or otherwise mysteriously disappears from a forum. The short answer is members often won't know.
In the case of murder, especially mass murder, authorities will investigate and, as common these days, explore the murderer's online history. In a forum like this, it means very hard questions to the Admin. Questions like "Let's see all of their posts, emails, etc", "Did you know or suspect this person was violent, mentally disturbed or threatening?"
This investigation will become a matter of public record and the owners/Admin could either become criminally or financially liable for the murder(s).
There are a few people on this forum who are, IMHO, one trigger pull away from making the news. "Truth Detector" is one. "CFM" and "PostmodernProphet" are two more. In case of "Truth Detector", and a few others, I think they are, for one reason or another, physically incapable of accessing a firearm much less going out into public, but there's no way for me to know this. All I can judge is their online behavior, their posts, the anger and hatred they express for others.
In short, just my observations but not my fucking problem. I'm just here for fun.
