Establish some historical commission and do it with historical references in play first.

I lived in Maryland most of my life where the battles are an integral part of the landscape-

I respect the service of all patriotic Americans who have served. Beyond that, I don't have to respect anyone who has besmirched the profession of arms. I don't like having Nazis buried in our National Cemeteries. Let them rot someplace separate.

The politicians are not being hysterical in removing commemorations and shrines to enemy combatants.

I care, because I live in America, and would prefer that my country not memorialize its enemies.

I've never had any issues stating these views. People don't like Nazis much. My views on the south are a tad more controversial.

Why don't you come to the South and spout off those views? I know a few military posts you can start on. I know a few active duty soldiers and sailors you can start with. See how long it would take one of them to slap the memory of your boyfriend's dick out of your mouth.

removing statues in the dead of night without ANY regads to their historical values is by definition"hysterical"..

Carpetbaggers were great American patriots who benefited from the principles of capitalism.

This is not about history. Anything of historical value can be hauled off to a museum. We should never build monuments to celebrate America's enemies.
