Another shooting school, just another day in America

This is the same “taking guns away from law biding people” rhetoric, Stephen Paddock, like many, were law bidding people right up until the moment they pulled the trigger

So, should we restrict the rights of all law abiding citizens simply because someone goes off the deep end?

The perp is black and an ex-football player, shit for brains.

Oh, look! It's the cowardly thread-banner. Are you sure you want me to respond? I'd hate it if I hurt your delicate feelings, sweetie.

“You,” and “years back,” not today, and with the proliferation of guns in the society, made possible by easy access, any person with a beef, especially one motivated by emotion, can just grab the weapon

Not excuses, reality

Obviously you cannot read. It was much easier to get a gun years past. I guess people weren't "emotional" back then?

Getting back to the top of the thread, why do people have a hard time accepting the obvious?

As long as we keep this republic intact, this republic will be the perpetual shooting gallery that the framers knew that it would be.

People claim to be proud of being American, and yet refuse to accept what being American entails.
If you're proud of being American, shut the fuck up about the guns.
Nobody, however, says that you have to be proud of being American.

We're Americans. We're subject to being shot at any time.
That's as much a part of it as free speech, the right to vote, and whatever other rights the present SCOTUS hasn't revoked yet.

If you're not cool with potentially being in the crosshairs at any time, stop being such a fucking true believer and seek an alternative to the present republic.
As long as you keep the present one, gunplay will be the national sport as protected and encouraged by our constitution.

It's amazing how Pollyannas want to keep their cake and eat it too. Amazing but pathetic. I've no respect for that kind of thinking.

You don't get to speak for the dead. Paranoia. Hoplophobia.

He's not a kid, he's 22 years old. When I was 22 years old I was bangin' bar girls in PI. Why? Because I was an adult, that's why.

RB 60 is correct. Once upon a time, getting a hold of a gun was a breeze. It's not the gun that kills, but the person.

If I set one of my guns down on the ground, locked and loaded, it will harm no one on its own, and that is undeniable.

It would take the actions of a sick individual like the shooter in Virginia to do that...

True, but so did I. I knew better than shooting other people. I was taught not to.

Like I said, we settled our differences with our fists, we didn't need a gun. We knew better.

Yes those toddlers are sick for killing their parents and siblings.

But they weren’t, not even imaginable, and no one knows, so Scalia, Alito, and Thomas saying they do is bullshit

Where did they say they do?

You people keep screaming "mental health." So there weren't any mental health issues back when we were younger and far more respectful of other's lives?
