It was another time, and we can not use our standards today to judge. this was a common practice among most cultures, girls were married young, it wasn't just in the culture of Islam, it was the Jews, it was the Romans, it was very wide spread and is still practiced to day in some cultures.

You seem to have come to the conclusion that a "marriage" means that it is consumated at that time.
Arranged marriages have happened, for as long as we know; but this does not mean that the husband fucked the little girl, following the "wedding".

No, I am sorry, I am not wrong on this one. It may be wrong to us now and cause revulsion, but life spans were shorter and it is just a cultural fact that girls were married when they started their menses and could bare children. We see it as perversion these days. In ancient times it was a way of life.
Brother and sisters married and formed unions. Incest was also practiced and though it sickens us in the Western culture, it was a common practice in ancient times.

You can not rewrite history! we can find it not to our liking, but times were different.

Then you have no problem in occuring in this day and age, since girls seem to be reaching their menses earlier and earlier.

When girls begin to go through puberty (usually starting between the ages of 8 and 13), their bodies and minds change in many ways. The hormones in their bodies stimulate new physical development, such as growth and breast development. About 2 to 2½ years after a girl's breasts begin to develop, she usually gets her first menstrual period.

So you have no problem in having your granddaughter marry, once she reaches her menses; which could be as young as 10 or 10 1/2!! :palm:
