Another DeSantis Fail

If you say so. Seems to me you would be more concerned that someone beat justice on a technicality.

Can you explain where is the justice in locking up someone for exercising his constitutional right to vote -- when he was told that it was fine now for him to do so?

Yes, he got off on a technicality due to a poorly-written law. That being said, I cannot see the intentional fraud here. These people were informed, prob. by their parole officers, that their voting rights had been restored, when in fact they were not. When they registered, why was their ineligibility not flagged and caught by the state or local election authorities? Wouldn't it have made more sense to merely throw out these individuals' ballots and let them know that they were not eligible to vote, rather than making a big fake deal over "Oh look! We caught voter fraud!"?

It's just more of the typical MAGAT bullshit grandstanding for the base, rather than a sincere attempt to ensure clean elections.

Nothingburger article. I do however find it both interesting and predictable that the left would cheer an election cheater getting off on a technicality. How very typical.

He got off specifically because he DIDN'T cheat, hickbilly.

The guy was told by election office personnel that he was eligible to register.

DeShameless had him busted on a technicality because he wants to look like a tough guy for easily impressed idiots like you.

You should just stop wasting your time trying to have an intelligent, rational, civilized conversation with these idiots.

They're a bunch of juvenile minded cretins whose sole mission is to be the biggest troll.

Look at how many times has Trump beat justice on a technicality, yet you still kiss his ass.

Justice???? The last thing leftist care about is justice.

You still support that criminal traitor Trump so therefore justice is the last thing YOU care about.

What other do or don't doesnt change who or what you are. You get that right? You people do t give a fuck about justice. That imbecile you elected is a child molester a retard and a pathological liar and those are his good traits.

Almost all the cases of people caught deliberately trying to vote twice in the 2020 election involved Trump supporters.

Yep. In addition, there are multiple incidents of MAGATs accessing or trying to access voting machines and voter databases. And then there's the multiple incidents of fake electors, all MAGATs as well.

But yeah, DeSantis "caught" 20 former convicts who mistakenly voted because they were told it was okay for them to do so. Florida is safe again from voter fraud! :rofl2:

Trump literally told MAGA morons to try to vote twice.

Most of them are, I agree. However, the person I was responding to doesn't fit in that category. Plus he's a resident of FL so has an interest in this issue. I doubt if his chosen source of news information bothered to inform its viewers that these 20 arrestees voted erroneously, not fraudulently. Doesn't fraud indicate intention to deceive on the part of the one committing it? There is no intention to commit fraud if you righteously believe that you were entitled to vote when in fact you weren't.

Compared with Trump, Joe Biden is the archangel Michael.

Trump should more reasonably be compared with Charles Manson than Joe Biden.

hey were approached to register to vote at a local WalMart. When they said they could not register because they were a felon, the person there said they could because Amendment 4 passed,” Davis said. “They helped him fill out the paperwork. He later got a voter card, and thought he could vote. That was two years ago.”
aggressive voter registration efforts combined with clueless election officials

You kind of missed one little word! applying to vote and voting while ineligible,

agreed. voter roles aren't purged, and registration is obviously not checked for felons when mailing out ballots or registration cards
The voter fraud guard should be looking at obvious cheating like multiple registrations

Better yet start firing registrars who cant do their job and ffs talk to people who may not have intent

They believed that they were eligible. They were told that, possibly by their parole officers. How is it fraud, a crime, when there was no intent?

Sorry lady, ignorance to the law is not an excuse. It is real easy to check your voting status with a phone call. Funny in all these years I have never voted illegally maybe it's a conservative thing. LOL

You kind of missed one little word! applying to vote and voting while ineligible,

He was told by a person whom he had every right to assume knew what they were talking about, that he was eligible.

No intent to commit fraud = no crime.

Even Trumper idiots like you understand the concept, but unfortunately you're all such dishonest, partisan scum, you refuse admit it.

You'd rather look stupid than to admit right-wing trash like DeShameless is engaged in playing low life political stunts.

Loyal idiots.
