The only one minimizing their death is you. You pretend that every tragedy by gun is due to the gun, rather than due to the irresponsible parents. By blaming the inanimate object in order to further your political views on guns, you are using their deaths for political gain. The point of the bath tubs etc... Was to show you that you cant legislate away parental irresponsibility. When confronted with the opposing view, you turn violent and hate filled and wish for another persons child to die via suicide using the inanimate object you hate. That says all anyone needs to know about how tolerant you are for opposing views and how little you care about the deaths. The only reason you care is if they can further your political views.

You know what the difference between a gun and a bathtub is? Or a frying pan? Or a golf club?

A gun, when used in the manner it was designed WILL KILL.

Neither a bathtub, nor a frying pan, nor a golf club, nor any of the other ridiculous obfuscatory objects you keep tossing into the the discussion to avoid the truth, were designed specifically to kill, nor do they kill when used properly.

A pity you can't even make that simple distinction.

1) A gun will only kill if you use it with that intent.
2) Any of the above, if used in an irresponsible manner, can kill.
3) Again, the point of the others was to illustrate that you cannot legislate away parental irresponsibility in these cases. It is not to suggest that guns and bathtubs are the exact same thing.
