Who says we have to wait for the parent to fuck up before we sterilize them? I say you have to take a test at 18. If you fail....well, you don't get to have kids. You should also have to take an additional test if you want to have a child (and again if you want another child). Having a child without a license will result in the child being taken, you being fined for the cost of raising it, and you'll be sterilized. Any felony convictions as well. Or those with mental illnesses or violent tendencies.

so... because we cannot craft a regulation that will prevent everything wrong from happening, we throw up our hands and say, fuck it, why regulate ANYTHING? What reasonable regulations would YOU support that would help to make tragedies with guns more rare?

What's your issue with my post Topspin? I'm a man I can take it if you disagree with me. I won't be offended. But at least tell me what you don't like/disagree with instead of groaning me. That's some Div 2 sh*t right there. That's not a SEC response.

So to prove how full of it they are, I dropped the "gun nuts" and eliminated that particular excuse and what do they do?

Why, just as I knew they would, they move the goalposts and continue as though nothing is different.

Typical left wingnut bullshit. I did not state anything to suggest that we should not regulate anything.

I support background checks, but if the government is not going to allow private citizens access to the database to run said checks, then they cannot require them to have a background check. Otherwise you force them to go find an FFL to get the check done.

I support the laws that state felons and mentally ill people cannot buy guns.

But again, nothing you do is going to prevent a parent from being a dumbass (at least the first time). Trying to regulate away stupidity is not going to happen. If it were possible, the extreme right and left wingnuts would be extinct.

None...simply put, his guns are more important than the lives of innocent gunshot victims...end of story.

So no one is on board with this plan? Why not? It'd solve all these problems that you guys are supposedly outraged about. No more child abuse or kids turning to drugs or any of that shit. By having legal requirements, we can make sure that only qualified people can have children.
