It is true that she is unbelievably thin-skinned for somebody so willing to put out the most outrageous statements.

I think it would help her out some to just take a bit and laugh it off.

All ideologues sound better when they are unopposed. It is by no means constrained to conservatism, or even to liberalism. Libertarians like Jon Stossel sound great on their own but would be absolutely destroyed in a moderated debate.

Well while as a libertarian I generally agree with his stances on the issues, I will not pretend that he is anything other than an ideologue. We reach similar conclusions, but he generally finds stupid and simplistic ways to get there. He could likely not hold his own in a formal debate.
 
What Ann needs is a sandwich. If the wind picked up and you grabbed her ankle people nearby would be whipped to death.
