Ann Coulter skewered on The View

I don't think they skewered her. There is lots of single motherhood. And it is glamorized. Who would say it's ideal? To discuss it is not to insult single mothers.

What libs don't get about Coulter is she's performing. It's an over the top charicature. It's designed to annoy the left and appeal to the right. It's designed to make the right laugh. Is she to be taken seriously? Maybe a few points she makes, but she's using comedy to get her political points across.

Then I think about a leftwing equivalent like Al Franken and he can actually get himself into the senate. Yikes.

Another typical vapid liberal response. Since you are not capable of dealing with the substance (borrow a dictionary, I'm certain you don't have a library card) you actually threaten the messenger??!!! Another product of our (liberal) public school system, obviously.

Now focus: can you understand the point made by Ms. Coulter is that the results of having a child out of wedlock is bad for the child and for society???
If not, defend it.

Since you cannot deny points such as

1) 70% of the prison population is the result of single parent out of wedlock liaisons,

2) these liaisons result in poverty for the mother/ offspring and

3) if you take single-motherhood out of the equation, black and white crime rates are the same. You attack the speaker. Fool. In your case an ass kicking is long overdue.
Hi Steppenwolf,

It is certainly true that the stats on just about everything are worse for kids raised without a father.

I have to say that was a little shocking though, Darla is like the queen bee Liberal on here, you got guts.

And I know that a dumb internet whore who has made one serious post, this one, and it's filled with hateful invective, should be careful who she calls stupid.

what are you gonna do, call them a bunch of names over the Internet?
how original.

Fixed.

I think you'll regret him getting in though Lorax, seriously, he says some outlandish shit and we both know there are way too many people who vote by soundbites.

I'm not a fan of Franken, but I'll take the extra seat, and Coleman's departure.

About 3-4 GOP Senators came out over the past few weeks either announcing or indicating that they're going to retire. I'm not worried about a few Franken comments endangering a long, healthy majority for Dems.

Wow, that was a very personal attack over something I said about Ann coulter. You must have been holding that in. I hope you didn't hurt yourself.

I find Coulter to be nothing more than a provocateur, who has often wished death upon others. I'm sure you know many of her more outrageous statements; wishing for a terrorist attack on the NY times building, wishing that John Edwards is killed in an attack, calling the 9/11 widows names. I personally have no problem with rabid conservatives defending her - she's good for liberalism. No one sane wants anything to do with her.

As for her stats on single mothers, I don't know if they are correct, because I have no idea where she got them. I do know that calling people vicious names does nothing to contribute to any solution to societal problems. And I also know that a forty something woman who has never had a serious relationship but brags that she has "dated every right winger out there" shouldn't be throwing stones at anyone else's morals.

And I know that a dumb internet whore who has made one serious post, this one, and it's filled with hateful invective, should be careful who she calls stupid.

Thanks for proving my point. You didn't answer any of my points, except to admit that you don't know if she is correct or not. It's so easy to be a liberal, since you don't have to actually know anything.

Further, context is so often the key to understanding: she didn't wish Edwards was killed, and in your "examples," you miss the point that she was simply (in your case, the word simple is one you probably hear a lot) reversing allusions posed by liberals. As for her dating history, do you actually miss the idea that we were discussing the issue that results from dating and having sex without the benefit of marriage. I can explain this to you, again, but, unfortunately, I cannot comprehend it for you.

Let's presume that you are literate: pick a number from one to six, to indicate how many of her best-sellers you have read. What, none?? What a surprise. What other areas are you ready to discuss without benefit of knowledge?

Thank you for your insight in recognizing that my post is serious. Sorry that I cannot return the complement. As for "whore," I realize that this must be a dear and personal term, that only your closest associates must apply to you, but try to remember that you are not talking to your mother.

LOL

Listen, Ann coulter is a liberal's best friend. And frankly, so are you.

Try a rabies shot before you post again.

No surprise there, your concern for the health of the Democrat party has been well documented.

Just remember that the whole Rove strategy was based on trying to keep power.

I've never made any bones about my preference for the Democratic party & Dem ideals when it comes to running things.

You, however, didn't seem to have too much problem with Rovian tactics when they were actually being employed by Rove.

Regardless, that one really isn't Rove. It's usually a party's preference & strategy to try to keep power.

Duh.

Could this thread be more predictable?

Coulter is a total lunatic; there is no critique of her which would be too extreme or out-of-bounds. Yet conservative Coulter-lovers always chime in with "there's that famous leftie tolerance" whenever Ann gets her due.

If there is a tolerant skin cell on Ann Coulter, I have yet to spot it.

democrats do it too

Franken is a vindictive liberal. He's out to get those dirty conservatives. He's no better than ann coulter and about half as funny.

They're both jokes

Is Steppenwolf actually trying to defend that psychopath?

Well she's on her own if she is. Anne Coulter is nuts. The only legitimate point cons have posed in this thread is alluding to liberal love of Olberman. Even he is not as big a hack as Coulter. I put him more on par with O'Reilly, both men pretending that he has a shread of independent credibility but completely in the box for a particular party.

Coulter is something different altogether: a provocateur. Like Darla said, watching her face during debates you can see that she love what she is doing. She is not trying to win debates or score intellectual points; she does what she does to infuriate.

Thank God we don't have anyone like that on our own dear board.
