Nobody knows if Sanders may have won or not. It would have been a classic campaign. The foul-mouthed Trump, slinging and sliming in mud, and the more principled Bernie, staying clean the whole time, just making point after point of things we could do to help people, help society.

Wasn't Bernie polling higher than Clinton going into the nomination? Bernie had no 'email problem' or other big scandals. His following was young and energetic, but he also had a lot of older supporters as well. And he happens to be very well versed on foreign policy.

One thing Bernie's campaign did was to remove much of the pox off the 'socialist' word. He caused many to take a new look at what it really means, and to realize that we don't have to choose between capitalism and socialism at all. We can have both! We actually already do. What we need to do is to figure out which things should be accomplished with capitalism, and which should be done with socialism. And how much government regulation over the markets should exist in order to satisfy the Great Preamble of the Constitution of the United States of America. That simple statement outlines the vision of what America is supposed to be. Those who wrote those great words are all dead now, so it is up to us to realize that vision.

Brernie would have had scandals. The Repubs would create them and make a huge deal of them, while backing the terribly corrupt Trump, You think they would have been honest dealing with bernie?

he's an idiot who thinks every move has to be done by coalitions. That's a reason I would not have voted for himin the general..but it wouldbe a real decision as opposed to forgetting Hillary

Why not run the Rock? He has lots of fans .. and he doesn't have the same impediments that Schwarzenegger did that prevented him from running for president .. although he did rise to be the Governor of California.

Point being, elections to higher office in America seems to be based more on popularity and celebrity than on substance. Too bad.

A year ago democrats wanted Comey's head on a stick. Now they want him to be president? I don't think so.

Comey being more believable than Trump is hardly qualifications to be president.

80% of planet earth is more believable than Trump.

the republican fought for a year to get them from the FBI

the FBI kept refusing because they needed to stay secret to do the case and that the congress had a penchant for leaking whatever they were given.


after a year the FBI relented and let congress look at them


THEY THEN LEAKED THEM IN MINUTES OF BEING GIVEN THEM

So's your aristocracy, socialism as it turns out in america is only off limits for the umsusbantial people. With regards to Wall Street for example, privatized gains versus socialized losses is the operative paradigm.

They were there the whole time. There was deep seated multi-generational hatred long before MLK opened up so many eyes, but without him to carry on his great inspiration the hatred has carried on. So much hatred the SPLC was created, and has grown into a massive organization, and still cannot keep up. There was seething hatred during the Obama administration, some of it actually whipped up by Trump. Now, it has grown to the point it was able to take over the Republican party.

I don't see how that can end well for the Republican Party. What it has stood for is being usurped by something ugly.

Do you honestly think that anyone believed 'I'll give you better health insurance, and a fraction of the price. It will be so easy"?

Of course not. Sure...no adults believed that Bernie could deliver. That's not the point. Democrat adults would still come out to vote solely due to the Supreme Court issues.

Add to that the entire millenial vote that stayed home, and you have a landslide.
