Why should she hide it? I think she's paying a great tribute to our country by discussing her history of coming here as an immigrant, being accepted, becoming a citizen, then being elected to office despite the fact that so many of us (cough cough) dislike immigrants (especially from "shithole countries" and esp. who are not white). Isn't this one of our points of pride -- that you can move to America and rise as high as you can through hard work?
