Nationality can mean the country you were born in. In her case, Somalia.

Nationality can mean citizenship. In her case, she's a US citizen.

Back in the day...a long, long, long time ago when I was in grammar school...a question often asked was, "What are you?" And I, like many of the kids in my school would respond with, "Italian."

We meant our heritage was Italian. My Father and all my grandparents came from Italy...and we said we were Italian.

We loved our country...pledged allegiance to the flag...and were American kids.

There was no insult meant in what we said...and there is no insult meant in the Somalian-American designation.

These conservative assholes are losing so much these days...they have to find molehills and try to make mountains out of them.

Hate to tell you hot shot but many higher security clearances cannot be granted to people with dual citizenship. Unless they reject to other citizenship. So you figure it out.

Why does she need to? She can't be proud of her heritage without advertising it?
