First they will trot that groveling woman to the stand to establish that the meeting took place and that the voice on the tape is Donald Trump and that she is the other person speaking. Then they will ask her what she saw in his hand. They might even ask her what she meant about Hillary Clinton emailing the document just for a little more humiliation for both of them.

Joe Biden's DOJ has alleged that Trump obstructed justice when he reviewed boxes of documents for which the DOJ had issued a subpoena. Those boxes were seized by the FBI from Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in August 2022.

Biden's DOJ also apparently leaked the audio recording of Trump discussing Milley at his Bedminster, NJ golf course to CNN. Now, Herridge reports, that the doc in question is not even part of the evidence against Trump.

It may have simply been a means to attempt to sway public opinion against Trump and in favor of Biden's political prosecution of his primary rival for the White House in 2024.

That would be illegal. It shouldn't be hard to find who illegally released the recording. I won't hold my breath though.
 
They probably leaked it thinking the court might say it was not admissible and they really wanted potential unaffiliated voters to hear it. This way, regardless of how the court rules (and how illegal the leaking was), they have it out in the court of public opinion and the DOJ will never "find" whoever (purposefully) leaked it no matter how hard (not hard at all, in fact they won't bother to entertain the idea of such an investigation) they "try".

They did not leak it. This tape is now in many hands. DOJ has had it for a long time. It recently was given to others, and viola! it lands in the hands of CNN. Jack Smith has no need and no reason to leak it. Didn't happen.
