This is just stupid-
He merely repeated what Christians the world over understand...to be united in Christ is to be brother's and sister's to one another.
As to whether he was wise as a newly elected governor to choose so public a forum, albeit apropriate for the message, is another argument. I mean just look at the hysterics from idgits such as yourself...so predictable!
It's really FALSE hysteria. They don't give a shit what he said, it doesn't bother them, it doesn't even effect them, they just see 'opportunities' to bash Christians who hold public office. This is evidenced by the reaction to his apology, that didn't matter either, they will bash him over the head with the apology as well, as Crashk just did. Liberals do this all the time, especially when they are losing political popularity. You see, there is a large contingent of people out there, who don't pay attention and don't understand Liberals have no soul, they are lying hypocritical opportunists, with no integrity, no morals and no ethics. To them, the Liberal's complaint is legitimate and understandable, and entertaining such nonsense makes them objective and rational. Liberals know this, and they understand, they can just keep lying and distorting, outright slandering someone, until that person is forced to respond, then they use that response to bolster their point even more!
This man said nothing wrong, nothing inappropriate, and nothing offensive. He had nothing to apologize for, and that is what he should have said, instead of apologizing. Whether you personally agree with the governor's religious views or not, the Liberals should be called out for their lies and distortions. But they know they won't be, they understand the non-religious, or those not affiliated with the governor's religious beliefs, will entertain their line of thinking, and the Liberals score points. That is ALL this was about, scoring a few cheap political points at the expense of someone's religion and religious beliefs.
