Darla you understand perfectly well why this is disturbing.
Don't play dense.
No I don't. Explain to me why it's disturbing while the 40 to 90 thousand human lives lost in hospital error and malpractice every year aren't?

Well, I think it may be to suggest that this abortion clinic did a bad thing and that the people who did it should be prosecuted. If you note, he didn't post about them doing legal abortions, probably because it would be boring and not news. The idea that he is equating the two is a bit far-fetched. If he really felt that this was the same as legal abortion we'd have a post a day about abortion clinics performing abortions.Really, what's DAno's point in posting it? Southernotaman's points in his posts on this thread?
Please.

What is the point of posting news stories at all?
Well I don't know if I would have phrased it like you did but this does have the smell of an urban legend.
First of all. They don't throw fetuses out in the trash. That's the first hall mark that this is unreliable reporting. Most abortion clinics either have an incinerator on site or have contracts with permitted medical incinerators who would pick up daily.
Second, 23 weeks is at the very lowest limit of viability. It's highly doubtful that this fetus could survive extrauterine.
Third, isn't it ironic that the procedure occurs at 23 weeks, the very last week before the fetus is considered legally viable?
Fourth, the poster has a well known lack of objectivity.
No, this one doesn't pass the smell test.

No, I think he is suggesting that this clinic did a bad thing.I think he's suggesting that this is a regular practice at these clinics. Maybe you don't know Dano, let me introduce you two. Damo, this is Dano, he's a right wingnut who has never heard a wingnut conspiracy he hasn't swallowed hook line and sinker. Dano, this is Damo, who suffers from amnesia.
Forced sterilization. This is why every conservative in the south should be burned alive.
Who cares? So what if it did happen the way the person who is suing says it happened? The infamous "to err is human" report estimated that anywhere from 40 to 100 thousand Americans were being killed every year in hospitals due to malpractice and error.
But cons like Dano say we have to do away with medical malpractice lawsuits anyway. So the tens of thousands of Americans, some children, who are killed every year in the hospitals don't matter, why should this one?
Don't tell me that you freaks are trying to equate this with legal abortion?
because that would just be stupid. You're not all stupid, are you?
In ten years you will be indistinguishable from Pat Robertson Epi.
I agree with this statement. Why do you insist on switching the subject? At least 95% of Americans would be disturbed at hearing this news, and we're not crazy or stupid for feeling that way.

I already don't recognize him from the earnest anti-war kid he was when i first got here.
Good for you, Saint Peter's calling your name.
It doesn't bother me in the least. I just shrug it off. Kinda like you do when you hear about a bunch of kids in Iraq of Afghanistan, or a bunch of toddlers in Gaza, getting exploded by our bombs. If you wanna make an omelet you gotta break a few eggs you know? Shrug.
Why guess? I stated the reason. One guess why he thinks Williams should be sterilized.
So Williams is suing the clinic? She wanted the abortion and when the baby was born alive, didn't act to stop the murder of it by the clinic owner. The owner should be on trial for murder and Williams tried for reckless endangerment of a child. Williams should also be force-sterilized as she has proven not to be able to prevent pregnancies that she doesn't want, as well as her criminal negligence.
To reiterate:
Although I am loathe to make assumptions, it appears that BAC is playing the race card on me. Yet I am as yet unaware of the color of Ms. Williams' skin.
I just raised it because it shocked me, I am undecided when it comes to abortion and don't believe either side can ever be 100% in the right.a) .. IF this is true as told, it's an anomaly, not something that happens all the time at these clinics. IF a crime was committed, people should be prosecuted.
b) .. Is there anyone who believes that Williams is capable of good parenting .. and if not, why would you be arguing against her choice to terminate a child she obviously did not want and couldn't properly care for?
c) .. Right-wingers don't give a fuck about Williams or her child .. this is indoctrinated ideology .. pure and simple.
I find it odd that some here think its ok to kill an infant, but capital punishment is barbaric. Others think abortion is murder but capital punishment and war are fine.
Taking a life is taking a life. Rationalizations and justifications are window dressing.
In this case, I would question whether the baby was saveable. 22 weeks is VERY premature. There might be a very slim chance if the birth had taken place in a hospital with a quality neonatal unit standing by. But not at a clinic with no Dr present.
But the way this was handled is abhorrent. To bag a living baby like it was trash is horrible.
I also think that this is not indicative of most modern abortion clinics.
Beautiful.
