ABC's reporters: Manchester jihad massacre “likely to inflame anti-Islamic sentiment”

See?

This is what you do. All I said was that I PM'd you - I didn't say I blamed you (here).

I tried to search it too, but - and this is 100% honest - it wouldn't search. I can't remember the 1st thread that that started that night, but it's that one. My 1st post was that it was fucked & pathetic that someone could commit such an act. It was much stronger language than I used here - where I supposedly went "on & on & on."

You just believe what you want to believe. Like I said, I don't really care, and I do wish you the best regardless.

I PM'd Damo. I'm definitely outta here, at least until I come back as "Green Eggs" or something. All the best to everyone.

I recant Thingy. I did not see any of those posts you claim exist.

I recant in the hopes you don't leave the board.

You're mentally unstable. Yeah, I'm not going to beg you stay here, but your reaction was complete and utter hysteria, which of course, you approve of. I'm just one poster making his opinion about your posts. There is no need to freak out and leave the board. I even went to the Manchester thread and didn't see much angst from you as compared to this thread over backlash. I tried to see your point. Yet, you can't even find where you were more upset over that. That is incredible. In fact, I don't believe it. It honestly makes me wonder if you're telling the truth and that maybe, note the word maybe, my comments were accurate.

I'll say again, I hope you don't leave the board, but if you feel it necessary, then by all means, leave. If you can't handle criticism on a political messageboard, then yeah, leave.

I mean, seriously. What is the bolded even supposed to mean?

muslims are not innocent. They have perpetuated an ideology of hate. The numbers worldwide are staggering. at least 20% believe in death for apostasy. Even moderate muslims in the UK believe in Sharia law at very high numbers.

It's no secret that hate crimes here grew after the election.

"Since the election of President Donald Trump, news outlets and social media accounts have swelled with reports of swastikas at schools, racist taunts, and other hate-fueled attacks and acts of intimidation. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which has aggregated media reports and gathered submissions from its website, catalogued 1064 such incidents, 13 of which were later debunked as false reports, in the first month after Trump won the presidency. (Twenty-six of those incidents were perpetrated against Trump supporters.) The SPLC has presented that data in aggregate, creating an invaluable record of the scope of post-election hate crimes."

fake news and false flags.

thing1 you are still one of the best liberals here, I wouldn't leave. I think you overreacted to what yurt said. You just have to take a chill pill or get away from the internet from a bit. you are too high strung. I recommend vaping.

Do any of you weirdoes know any actual Muslims? Your wanking-fantasies are very boring, you know. You have, doubtless, a certificate in Sharia law? Stop talking American right-wing shite, there's a good kid.

This explains their position on (Muslims, blacks, immigrants, etc.)...

The friend argument is an argument used by people who want to claim knowledge about and/or sympathy with a group, by referring to their "friends" belonging to this group. It is commonly used to clear and absolve oneself from suspicion of racism, xenophobia or other kinds of prejudice. It is a particular form of the "Not prejudiced, but..." statement.

Examples:

  • "I don't hate blacks. I have many black friends. But..."
  • "I am not homophobic. I have a gay friend, and he is OK. But..."[SUP][1][/SUP]
  • "Some of my friends are Atheists. But..."

You lose elections because you presume all groups think the same thoughts. Except white Americans of course, who are free to believe many different thoughts.

No, these rubes do not have any muslim friends or peers, and they know nothing about Islam. And I do not have much scholarly knowledge about Islam either, but at least I can admit it.

These dupes watch Fox. That's where they get their "information": a cable network run by notorious sexual harassers who have made a lot of money by marketing and selling racial resentment and religious bigotry to poorly educated and easily duped rubes.

I've got a good understanding of Islam,, like anything else it takes an interest and some research, and if you pay attention to developments..with the internet, there is much you can learn.

One important aspect is we don't have the "no go" zones Europe does.
we don't have the concentration of Muslims either.

That unestricted immigration from Syria last year or so, really opened up Europe to a battle for cultural norms.
Hillary Clinton and Obama wanted to start with about 1ook immigrants ( refuges) -and there is no way to vet that many.
It's not "xenophobia " to control ones borders, amounts and vetting do matter

Liberal ABC is very worried about their Islamic allies in those countries. This is why they run stories like this.

I've got a good understanding of Islam,,

I actually laughed out loud.

Reading rightwing blogs on the internet does not constitute an education on Islam. You are kidding yourself.
Nothing you have ever written strikes me as demonstrating a depth of scholarly knowledge of Islam. It actually pretty much sounds like you are repeating what you read from blogs and news reports written by non-muslims ....and often, from those with a political bias against Islam.

Who better to learn about Islam from than actual mainstream muslims?? Something I am certain you do not do.

Have you converted yet?

not "blogs" you moron.. there are all kinds of scholarly articles about sectarian Islam out there.
Not just Sunni/Shi'a but the division in the main streams itself.
also articles on "fundamentalism" - both Shi'a and Sunni. ( actually political Islam in Shi'a Iran)

There is also the understanding of the fact it's a revealed religion.
That goes towards the facilitation of the Apocalypse as a reason for the rise of Salfists in Sunni Islam.

what strike me most is the reliance on rote by the more conservative factions..
constant repetition in the madrassas of the Quran substituting for an education
Anything distractive of constant mental dwelling of Allah is to be shunned.
Which leads to a hostile intent towards anything purely secular.

what also strikes me is your constant ignorance of politics other then your myopic self views.
You gross generalization dismissing anyone not associated with the cult of Hillary as "tards" and other assorted non-words you try to use as descriptive nomenclature that are not fact based.
Your posts are pedantic

And this, folks. is exactly why history always has, and always will record the actions of progressives, liberals, and humanists in a high regard, compared to the antics, grudges, and resentments of rightwingers, conservatards, and religious extremists.

Fascist, Go Home! After Bombing, Manchester Residents Shut Down Anti-Muslim Demo

“The people of Manchester don’t stand with your xenophobia and racism,” one man shouted at the English Defence League racists.

In the aftermath of Monday’s tragic bombing, the people of Manchester showed little patience with the racist opportunists of the extreme right English Defence League, quickly confronting EDL attempts at provoking a xenophobic and anti-Muslim backlash.

The immigrant-scapegoating EDL picketed outside of the Arndale Mall Tuesday, spewing Islamophobic slurs and hoisting the Union Jack. The demonstration followed shortly after the panicked evacuation of the shopping center.

However, the far-right horde was quickly outnumbered by counter-protesters. One man, filmed by Reuters, strongly denounced the EDL fascists while onlookers clapped and nodded.

“The people of Manchester don’t stand with your xenophobia and racism,” he said, adding, “The people of Manchester are going to stick together, no matter what religion you follow, no matter what the color of your skin is.

“We’re not going to stand with people like you,” he shouted at the right-wingers.

“We’re going to stick together because together we are stronger and the people of Manchester are not going to be afraid of who is responsible for this violence,” he continued.

except i have never said that or made that argument.

I don't know any muslims. Most muslims in the USA aren't actual muslims as they don't actually follow the faith.
