Nope. Seals are improved a lot in the many years the EV has been stuck in the 80s. Most will last for the life of the car now.
You do not need to pull an engine to replace seals.

Seals do go bad, they went on my friend's GT3 RS. And yes, you have to drain a dry sump to change the oil.
