If a group utilizes violence to acheive a political objective, then that group is a terrorist organization.

I have two friends who immigrated from Czechoslovakia, when they were much younger.

They've never met; but they both have told me similar stories, about how when the communists came into power.

Property was confiscated and the Government was now the owners.
Prosecution of anyone who dared to voice, or was accused of voicing, dissent against the party.
Purges of entire areas.

Czech is now free; but you should hear about how they feel about communists and/or the Slavic's.

One of the markers of a civil society is that only police can justifiably use violence as a means to an end. And that end isn't even political---it's civil.

And when police stand down---like they were instructed to in Charlottesville, anarchy reigns. That is what the breakdown of a civil society leads to.

And that's what it looks like.
