401k's are about to lose half their value. Why gamble with retirement? A capital gains tax is long overdue.

I gather you mean an increased capital gains tax. Is it a good idea to inhibit investment ? The wealthy have alternatives if you pressure them. Great Brittan tried it and the wealthy took their bat and ball elsewhere.

The answer ultimately is acknowledging that we have a spending problem, not a revenue one....

The spending problem is war and bankster bailouts. We're approaching the 4th global economic collapse in the first fifth of this century. End the fed and start investing in infrastructure. If not, history shows that rioters will fill the streets in desperation.

The fed note is projecting to go to zero by 2030. The lockdowns and militarized police are to force us into compliance.
