The ME has been a cluster fuck for eons. It's never peaceful and one nation or another is always in turmoil. I've read just as much as anybody on the Benghazi situation and unlike you, I recognize that there were a great number of separate issues that all came together and led up to the tragedy. Funding issues, safety issues, communications issues, the State Dept., the actions of the militants, the civil war, anti-American sentiment, deaths of al-Qaeda leaders and yes, the video. You can make fun of the video only because you apparently don't understand the religious mindset of Muslims who believe their Prophet was defamed. It certainly wasn't the main reason for the attack but it contributed. Four people were tragically killed when everything I mentioned above reached the tipping point, and that's a fact.

It's really sad to see you, especially, latch onto the narrow talking point of "blame Hillary" but I understand it's just the RW pre-emptive strike in case Hillary does decide to run for prez in 2016.

Wrong again dunce; we are illustrating the incredible hypocrisy and stupidity of lefttards like you who excuse the incompetence of this Administration and its dishonest attempts to cover it up but want to turn a traffic jam into a massive scandal; ALL for purely political purposes.

Benghazi was a case of gross negligence and incompetence; it wasn't about budgets, it wasn't about a video and it certainly isn't about Republicans as you stupidly attempted to infer.

While all of our allies pulled their missions out having the SAME intelligence and information our State Department had, our incompetent buffoonish leaders left ours intact and without adequate protection or planning. Then after they get caught with their pants down around their ankles, try to blame videos, the dead and Republicans fir their stupidity.

Thanks to the duplicity of the media, who have shed any appearance of objectivity and have nearly become a part of the Administrations disinformation campaign, this story is pushed into the background as merely a political fantasy of Republicabs while "bridge gate" commands headlines.

It is despicable and dishonest, but has become common place in the most dishonest, corrupt, inept and incompetent Presidency in our history.
 
can't answer my simple question? why not just say so? How do you know there were not other more pressing requests for the state department? Please explain how Hillary should have been able to see into the future and know that Stevens would be attacked when he went - of his own volition - to Benghazi.

I never once said he was there on vacation, you lying hack. But the decision on whether to go to Benghazi and WHEN to go to Benghazi was made by him and not by Washington.
 
and the requests for security upgrades were made PRIOR to Stevens going to Benghazi - again, of his own volition and timing - and he KNEW when he went, that security was not as optimal as he would have wanted it to be.... AND HE DECIDED TO GO ANYWAY.

Stevens had sent NUMEROUS requests for additional security and messages of the deteriorating conditions there. Our allies had pulled their missions prior to this event because such an event was PREDICTED.

But our doofus in the White House was on permanent campaign mode and Hillary was too busy planning her own to have comprehended the OBVIOUS. Then, during an election year the dimwitted VEEP is chanting "Osama is dead, GM is alive", this administration attempts to cover up their gross incompetence by blaming a non-descript video and saying it was a "spontaneous" event.

Now I know your a moron and have difficulty comprehending the obvious, but many of us actually can comprehend something as painfully obvious as this without someone spoon feeding disinformation to us.

Let's face it, you're a dishonest, hyperartisan asshole devoted to lies, obfuscations and deflecting because you cannot defend your leaders and ideology with the truth, facts or reality.

Now you can continue proving what a moron you are by trying to claim that Stevens was not acting on his bosses authority and is therefore culpable for his own death. that doesn't answer my question in any way. please try again. No one is saying that Benghazi wasn't dangerous. No one is saying that the state department didn't know that, in a perfect world, they should provide more security there... AND DOZENS OF OTHER LESS THAN OPTIMALLY PROTECTED FOREIGN MISSIONS.... I am asking you how we were to know that Benghazi needed to be at the top of that priority list? Can you answer THAT question or not?
