Tinfoil's answer was 100% accurate and scientific.
Of course it was to a fool like you. Again, the notion that man evolved from ooze requires the willful suspension of intelligence and common sense. But you run with that one.

I don't really know why you're trying to engage in a discussion on evolution when you don't understand the basics of it.

The climate is changing. Humans are the cause.
Stupidly thinks man can control and manage the earths climate.

I think the people who don't understand the basics of it are people like you who seem to believe it explains how man evolved.
What do you believe the theory says about mans evolution? Do educate me.
It's not really what I think - the fossil record backs up our evolutionary history.
And all life on the planet has a common ancestor.
No, not that I can think of off-hand. I've taken several college-level bio courses though so I am familiar with both macro and micro-evolution. BTW, learning how we are what we are today -- and all the other lifeforms we share the planet with -- in no way erases the wonder and feeling of awe at the beauty and complexity of life on Earth. I have no personal need for a creator deity in order to appreciate and know gratitude for this place.
No; it really does not.
Really? What do we have in common with an ameba?
What do we have in common with an ameba?
Almost everything.

Genome similarities between a human and amoeba is about 80%. With a chimp it's about 95%.
Even with a banana, it's about 30%.
Common ancestor.
Let’s assume those numbers are accurate.
Think about what that means. Amoeba’s metabolize at least some nutrients by a similar chemical pathway as ourselves; they produce ATP; construct cell walls and etc. And that would account for at least some of the genetic similarities.
What about the other 55-60% of their genomes? Would it somehow be ‘unscientific’ if someone looked to see if any part of the amoeba genome coded for livers, spleens or arms and legs?
I don't even know what this question means.
Any similarities at all would be a crazy coincidence without a common ancestor. Just the presence of DNA.
Coming up with novel body plans from scratch, seems like a pretty crazy coincidence lol.
What good is one arm or leg?
I think you get the question, actually. You would be forced to conclude ‘crazy coincidence’ because the alternative is unacceptable and/or on account of your presuppositions about how life came to be.
not needed if they weren't around at the time.....
I doubt if an amoeba is 80% a banana is 30%."Genome similarities between a human and amoeba is about 80%. With a chimp it's about 95%.

If you haven’t found anything in evolution to be skeptical about, you either haven’t looked or you don’t want to.
Again, you're losing me. I believe in god, so that idea isn't "unacceptable." But I also believe everything has a common ancestor...don't you?
Hello Darth,
Such as?
