Your evidence of them going elsewhere is what? If they were going elsewhere to drill why is the international production not up by a larger percentage than US production? If all those rigs went elsewhere then why is the current rig count in the US 65% higher

The highest rig count in 2 years and yet you want to argue they don't have enough rigs because they went elsewhere? It seems you didn't read any of the articles you posted.
Not having enough rigs does not equate to not having permits which is the false claim that is being made here. If there are 9,173 permits to drill and only 663 rigs, is the problem that there are not enough permits? or the actual problem that there aren't enough rigs even though we have more rigs than any time in the last 2 years?
