Indeed. The word is meritocracy. Ironically, Kaep works in an industry that is meritocracy from top to bottom. NFL stands for 'not for long' because owners are absolutely color blind and only want the best athletes for the job. Period.
One of the things liberals refuse to talk about is the aspect of black culture [call it a subculture] that frowns on hard work and making good grades. It's looked upon as 'acting white'. Young black people who unwittingly subscribe to it are very likely going absolutely no where in life.
It's tragic. Worse yet, there's no government solution for it.

No one said he doesn't have the right to not stand, so I don't know who you're addressing. I'm a huge football fan. Had to be in my house, LOL. But the reason people would are is that the guy looks like another spoiled rich jock who doesn't appreciate how great his life is and wants to be a spoiled, sulking brat. If you don't like football, you have no reason to care about either his career or his off the field actions. If you do like football, you have every reason to care about his personal actions as well as his career on the field. Football is a spectator sport. The spectating doesn't stop at the sidelines
