49ers QB Colin Kaepernick refuses to stand for the national anthem

When you quote me, just so you know, I'm expecting what you say to have something to do with what I said. That's actually the purpose of a quote box

You said: "it's odd that someone could hate a country as much as he hates the one that has treated him so well." Your comment that he "hates the country so much" is supposition, given that I didn't see the word "hate" in his comment.

He gets credit for having the talent and determination but NFL fans made him a millionaire. And he's second string, so if I were him I'd find another way to voice my protest lol.

Honesty should compel you to admit that for every million Kaepernick gets the team gets much, much more. Its a quid pro quo.

Racism is a non-issue, isn't it?

Bet the cons would be surprised to learn who said this:

“It took me a long time, and a number of people talking to me through the years to get a sense of this. If you are a normal white American, the truth is you don’t understand being black in America and you instinctively under-estimate the level of discrimination and the level of additional risk.”

Poor Fake. She's misunderstood and mistreated.

What has this country ever done for him but make him a millionaire for throwing a ball? No wonder he hates us so much

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."
