31% Of Americans Believe Civil War On Horizon

Both are too dumb and milk toast to get elected. The fact that you like Kasich is enough to know he is not a Republican at all. He won ONE state in the primaries. :rofl2:

It's hilarious to see liberals who loathe every successful Republican politician suddenly pretend to like losing GOP never-Trumpers, isn't it, TD?

We WILL resort to violence. Be VERY afraid, old white rural Fox News people. Cower inside your little hovels petrified of
the impending doom!

And please STFU while you do await rapture, we are busy running the world.

Its even more amusing that they think we should take their advice on who is a good candidate or would be well served taking it. :rofl2:

I don't know who you vote for, nor do I really care unless you decide to accuse me of being the 'trumper' OR anti hillary just because. I voted 3rd party myself, so unless you have a problem with that, why does it matter? just don't accuse me of 'living in fear' because I'm anti hillary.

You sure took that personally, for someone who supposedly isn't a Trumpanzee. Why's that?

The difference between China now and Japan then is that China uses their SOE's to take advantage of trade agreements. What's needed are WTO agreements that eliminated the SOE loophole that has real teeth to it. However, to do that will require allies and Trumps go it alone unilateralism is counter productive to bringing power to bear on China on this issue cause if the US tries to go it alone than China will just play the time tested and provent "divide and conquer" game.
I take it the SOE = state owned enterprise? ( you don't reference)..

I don't understand why the WTO would have any say in a country's design of it's economy.
That's not it's charter- only trade.
But I agree a WTO that actually enforced it's rules would be nice- but won't happen .

The EU and NAFTA are certainly nowhere as egregious as Chinese intellectual theft, but both promote trade barriers.
That can't be ignored either, but I agree going after everyone all at once is problematic.

Hopefully Trump gets re-elected and can use that mandate to drive home his first term initiative

Who do you think negotiates these trade agreements? The point is sanctions in any trade agreement are ineffective unless you have allies to help enforce them. That’s why Trumps tough guy America first rhetoric may appeal to mouth breathers but in the real world it’s counterproductive. He’s not going to get shit accomplished without allies. China will just play us off against Europe and South America and Europe and South America will do the same.

Why would an American company choose to leave the US?

Could taxes, demands from organized labor and government regulation be factors?

Think really hard, Nerdberg.

:tardthoughts:

Alcoa moved to Arabia to be near a huge source of Bauxite and new markets... so did GE.

who? Lighthizer in most cases. He's an outstanding United States Trade Representative.
There are all bi-lateral talks. China and the EU cannot gain up against the US.

In NAFTA's case where there are multi-lateral talks, even there the parties are negotiating for their own individual best interests

They don't have to gang up on the US. Europe can play the US off of China, Russia, South America, etc, etc., vice versa for China. The US cannot stop China's hiding behind SOE's to violate trade agreements without allies.

how do they play off? each negotiation is separate.
There are all bi-lateral ( including US/EU) with the exception of NAFTA as noted.

Everyone is negotiating for their best interests -some may overlap -some not -
you have to give some type of scenario here..I don't see any.

:tardthoughts:

You think. I have stated many times that they left for cheaper unprotected labor and no environmental regulation. You apparently think it is fine. So we should pay American workers 80 cents and hour and allow all the pollution a company wants? That makes sense to you. That what he should strive for?

So you say.

Could taxes, demands from organized labor and government regulation be factors in offshoring?

Think really hard, krudzu.

I'm for it. I want nothing to do with this trash.
If I want to visit creationismville gunland feel free to issue me a visa, or not. I'm perfectly happy flying over you going to the best places with the smart people.
We are not united states. Fuck off.

If you're there, it has to be the biggest shithole that exists solely because you're there.

What scares me is who comes after Trump. A dim usually replaces a republican after 8 years and those elected seem to be getting more and more extreme. Will we elect a violent antifa in 2024 who'll sign EO's to open borders to all who will be entitled to full medical and welfare benefits without working a day?

I'm sure that will be the Reich wing's campaign pitch. But hey, Obama implemented most of the structure that allowed Don to rule like lil’ Kim.

Meanwhile, at least america is great for now:
