236k jobs added, unemployment drops to 3.5%

They need an insane conspiracy theory to be true... Therefore it must be true.

Not to interrupt the echo chamber but are you guys any different? I mean look at that response you gave me. It’s basically a caricature of what you claim others are doing. If you were being ironic then a hat tip to you. But I’m guessing you weren’t.

Inflation is down. There are huge numbers of jobs out there to be filled. Almost everyone who wants a job can find one. The main thing holding down wages is people wanting easier jobs for their own personal reasons.

A lot of things are good. Not everything, but a lot of things. And still the alt right claims this is worse than the Great Depression.

The democrats believe Bidens lies Job growth is slowing and job cuts is growing the economy is not in good shape. We are in a recession

Mar 29, 2023 — In this month, inflation amounted to 4.2 percent, while wages grew by 3.2 percent. Inflation in 2022. The high rates of inflation in 2022 meant ..

The loons in theDemocratic Socialist party think this is good news.

No one likes job cuts, but we need job cuts to reduce inflation. We are quite lucky that we have so many unfilled jobs that we can lose job positions, and still have more people in jobs. Biden is dealing with the problems that exist, unlike trump would.

Again, this is one of those is perfect, but it could be a lot worse.

We are in a recession

Maybe, but not definitely. We are dealing with inflation, and only maybe in a recession, which is a minor miracle in and of itself. If we are in a recession, it is so minor that it just a maybe.

Walter:

"but we need job cuts to reduce inflation."

Walter, did you really post that?

The normal way we reduce inflation is by cutting back on economic growth, especially jobs. Adults understand that... so I can understand why it is so alien to the alt right.

Wage growth pushes up inflation, so that is not entirely bad news. And the short fall in wage growth is mostly more people joining the workforce and taking part time, or lower paying jobs.

Getting rid of inflation is painful, but this is the least amount of pain anyone can imagine. Making this sound like the Great Depression is just silly.

Total number of American s employed, as of February, 2023: 131.17 million.
https://www.statista.com/statistics...023, there,131.18 million full-time employees.

I used to be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, and just say you were mistaken. You have been corrected so many times, I now am sure you are just lying. That is not the "total number of Americans employed", but rather the full time employed. You are attempted compare full time employed to total employed, but full time employed will always be less.

Total number of Americans employed in 2019, right before the ChinaDem attack: 158.6 million.
https://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2020/a... force measures continued, the end of the year.

And right now there are 160.892 million employed, that is more than back then. There are also more full time employed than back then.

All we have to do is walk about and we know your claims that there are 20 million fewer people employed is a lie.

MAGA cultists have been claiming for the last 24 months we are in a recession.

30 months ago, Trump practically guaranteed an unprecedented economic depression of apocalyptic proportions if Biden were elected.

Those are the BLS' stats, not mine. I'll go ahead and take the bureau of labors stats' word for it, over yours . thank you.

READ YOUR OWN LINK to the BLS, and have one of the grownups explain it to you.

Go to as restaurant next time you're "walking about".

You "correct" Me? That's rich. You get pimp slapped every time we meet up, and this is no exception.

Those are the BLS' stats, not mine.

I gave the BLS stats, and there are more people employed now than ever before.

You are misrepresenting the stats for full time employees, as total employees, and then comparing them to total employee. You have done this more than a dozen times, so it is hard to call it a mistake. It is an intentional lie.

READ YOUR OWN LINK to the BLS

Still says 160.892 million employed. A few days ago, it said 160.315 million employed, but we got the March numbers. Where I come from 160 is bigger than 158.

Now lets go to the link and see what it says:

Monthly number of full-time employees

Odd how the link says "full-time", and you say they are wrong.

Except the economy is resisting the impact as demand keeps growing.
You have no idea what the Dems think. Job growth has been deliberately slowed down to fight inflation. That is the only tool that treasury will use to lower inflation.

This is not the best of times, but it is certainly not worse than the Great Depression. We might be in a recession, but that is only a 50/50 chance, and it would be the mildest recession ever. Republicans have gone crazy.
