2009 - may it be the best year

My determination is to write more for publishing, rather than just for my business.

That is actually my only real resolution for 2009, that I actually finish at least one of the 3 stories I have started and get them out to a publisher. Rejections slips are better than unfinished manuscripts.

Solitary, what's the subject matter of your stories? A 100 yr old bald black man and his antics in married ladies boudoirs? Swashbuckling, indeed.

Well, I hate to disappoint you but there are no 100 year old bald black men in my stories.

Although there is a comely lass who is was born in the 18th century. But her fondness for fresh blood sort of ruins the attraction for some people.

I'll let you know when I manage to get my post-apocalyptic story published. Much more your style, I would imagine.

New Year's day is one of my favorite holidays. All the expectation with none of the expense of Christmas.

Mine too! I just sent out an 'announcement' to my students and parents wishing them a wonderful New Year and previewing what is to come in the next couple weeks.

I think for the country, may be trying for awhile, but seems people are paying down debt and starting to save. The past year has awakened something that will take awhile to forget. While it may have hit retailers some, it's a culling. You are one of the least 'frivolous' people I know, and still popped for Wii! :clink: This is NOT a depression, at least not for most. In the long run, will be a better place to be, though I sure liked the possibility of $300 something for my town home, rather and maybe $200?
