Sorry if I wasn't clear. Yes, masks don't protect the wearer very well, if at all. Like a condom, they do help to prevent spreading disease. Trump is well known to like it bareback so he blew off the safety protocols and led his entire Administration to do the same. It works the same as a HS STD epidemic: "use protection to prevent the spread of disease".

Now several key Trump staff members have popped positive for COVID. Trump himself is sick, so sick he had to be airlifted to Walter Reed and given experimental treatment as his best option.

You reap what you sow and, by virtue of their actions/inactions, the Trump administration is reaping the Great White House COVID-19 Epidemic. It's epically Karmic.

I have read that a mask will lower viral load, all these new terms were learning, so to me it does protect you in a way.

This idea we're all going around mouth breathing floating viral snot is funny though. It's why dragging your mask down to "sip a drink" like Fauci did (you know at the baseball game where he was "sipping" an invisible drink that he was not holding) is supposed to be "bad".
