If he resigns before the election (I know you dream of this, don't you?), it will throw the election process into chaos. Ballots have already been printed, mailed out, returned. Therefore, I can see this low-intelligence cunning weasel doing exactly that.

Have you ever read any Norse mythology, or any other cultures' stories of the Trickster persona? Coyote, Loki, Prometheus, Ananzi, Raven? In Christian mythology, the trickster would be Satan.

Some have speculated for some time that he'll step down after losing the election, and have president Pence pardon him preemptively.

Still won't protect him from NY state level charges.
 
One thing for sure, Trump did not or does not have mild symptoms of covid, going to the hospital and taking experimental drugs too?!!

Agreed about state charges. Still, Pence would have to be President to do it and, right now, it looks like Biden will win with the Senate being a toss up.

He did. If the rest of the Trump Crime Syndicate has been dabbling in financial crimes, I'm sure that evidence, subpoenas, and charges -- at the state level -- will be forthcoming. Law enforcement and the justice system is pretty sick of that grifter clan playing them for fools.

I am quite concerned about that. I do not see either (D) or (R) voters or pols trying to commit voter fraud. But I can see (R)s trying to use voter intimidation, rejection of mail-in ballots, closing of polls in urban (D) voting areas, and other means to suppress (D) voters and favor (R)s.

I can see that as well. He has shown us 40+ years of being a petty, whiny, childish sore loser. Hopefully his cult will stay away as well.
