It’s been 16 days since the SCOTUS’ unanimous 9-0 order that the Trump admin must return Kilmar Abrego Garcia. When is the Trump admin going to be

He's right now not a proven member. Not that this matters to the deadheads who fall in line whenever called to do so.

MAGATs only honor law and order when it's being used against people they don't like. The fact that they support a convicted felon tells us all we need to know about their integrity, principles, ethics -- or lack of them.

Garcia is home... No one is complaining anymore... Certainly not his battered wife or the father of his stepchildren...
El Salvador is his home country. They can do as they please with him. It's unlikely they will release one of their own citizens to the US. Especially since he was deported from the US.

He was here, what, 7 or 8 years before his first infraction. Why didn't he go through the legal channels to become a US citizen?
He was picked up on more than one charge. He was declared deportable. So home he went.
And home he will stay...

His ethnicity is what made him an undesirable. Had he been a Western European immigrant, no problem.

As for the unbattered wife, she fought the hardest for him.

So you still believe that he's a candidate for maryland dad of the year ? That
Just does not seem to be the case...
She didn't fight at all... How does one who was battered become unbattered?

A court ruled that he could NOT be sent to El Salvador. That due process thing. Then the Trump administration violated that court order and claimed it was an administrative error.

Whether El Salvador will release him back to the US or not isn't the problem at this point. The problem is that the Trump administration is doing nothing in violation of another court order. We can't know what El Salvador will do if no one bothers to officially ask.

She was front and center in his defense. As for the victim, give him a Scottish/German(Bavarian would be best) background and he's safe and sound in America.

I Did not see her as being front and center at all ... If you have evidence of that i'm happy to look at it,though... In the interview that I saw she was very hesitant. To answer questions ...typical of What might be expected from a battered woman... (Well he's not Scottish, German, or Bavarian... Do we have an illegal problem with people of those descents?)

The wife of a Maryland man mistakenly deported to El Salvador is criticizing the Trump administration for publicly releasing details of a 2021 restraining order against him.

Jennifer Vasquez Sura, whose husband Kilmar Abrego Garcia was deported just before the U.S. Supreme Court ordered his return, called the move an unjust act of "abduction" and defended her husband against the resurfaced allegations.

In an exclusive statement to Newsweek, Vasquez Sura responded to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) release of court filings alleging domestic violence. The documents include her 2021 request for a protective order in which she accused her husband of punching and scratching her, ripping her shirt, and leaving her bruised.

"After surviving domestic violence in a previous relationship, I acted out of caution following a disagreement with Kilmar by seeking a civil protective order, in case things escalated," she said. "Things did not escalate, and I decided not to follow through with the civil court process. We were able to work through the situation privately as a family, including by going to counseling."

"Our marriage only grew stronger in the years that followed. No one is perfect, and no marriage is perfect. But that is not a justification for ICE's action of abducting him and deporting him to a country where he was supposed to be protected from removal. Kilmar has always been a loving partner and father, and I will continue to stand by him and demand justice for him," the statement adds.

Well, I saw her speak.... And she was not supportive.... And said nothing that even remotely resembled that statement...That sounds like something that an attorney wrote up... But you did provide an example of what What you believe to be her statement And support... We shall see what happens...

It is what you expect from a woman whose husband was taken away to a jail in a foreign land without a trial, a hearing, or a scintilla of due process. What makes her think Trump will not do the same thing to her if she says something he does not like? Anyone dealing with Trump's terrible idea of justice is afraid to speak.

Perhaps you watched an edited version on FOX. Why else would she speak to the press except to be supportive unless she were backing his deportation, which she opposed.?

You are describing Democrats again. I am convinced you idiots mean Democrats whenever you use the term 'MAGA'. It's a redefinition fallacy.

What 'convicted felon'?????

Who are you talking about, Sybil????

i saw her speak...and she couldn't answer the questions she was asked.... Michael Strahan was interviewing her... I'm imagine she was given plenty of help with statements that came later...

Take your complaints to ICE. They had enough to deport him. He was here illegally. Off he went....

You are complaining that it is being taken up with ICE and then tell me to take it up with ICE.

They agreed in court that they violated a court order to do so but claimed it was an administrative error. This case is about taking the complaint up with ICE.

How long ago was this order passed down?
