If you are speaking of the Martin murder, then I would agree that they have enough evidence to suggest self-defense was not applicable and they should have charged Zimmerman by now. If you are asking in general, then there is this thing called evidence. In our country you are presumed innocent. Even if you KNOW who did it, if you do not have enough evidence to prove it, then the DA may not bring charges.
I'm not talking about bringing charges. If the man is innocent he should face trial. Then if the judiciary consider it right, he should be freed.
Just look to the mob for about a billion examples of that.
Whether they have sufficient evidence is not the point. A person was killed. Even if it had been an accident the person responsible should have been taken in for questioning and possibly charged and sent for trial.
Perhaps you can provide an example of what you are referring to.
No. That would be cherry picking and lead to a nonsensical argument.
Again, care to provide an example? If you are referring to Martin's murder, then there are currently three separate investigations on going.
Yes, now there are. But there was no original intent.
True, it is not up to the police to pass judgement, it is up to them to collect evidence and present it to the DA. The DA then decides whether a person should be charged.
As for the 'loonies' passing judgement... anytime you get publicity like the Martin case has, you are going to have not only the loonies, but just about everyone pass judgement. That is the dangerous side of making a case public. Sometimes it is necessary to combat an injustice (or perceived injustice) by the police. Obviously I have already 'passed judgement' based on what we have been told of the case. It appears from what they have revealed that they have enough to charge Zimmerman. That said, I acknowledge that the public (including myself) may not be privy to all the details yet. So while I would not convict him without knowing if there was more or not, I would have him arrested at this point and let the evidence come out in court.
Unfortunately for you, you once again display your hatred for America and insist upon projecting things upon us that simply are not true. Your jealousy of the US once again severely clouds your views.
