Of course the Taliban murders are a different issue for you. We can't have common sense enter any thoughts here, can we. Murder is murder.
Being against a mosque is not denying muslims their first amendment rights. The majority of citizens in NYC are also against the mosque. Now you get to work and prove I am denying muslims their first amendment rights.
Can't have any common sense? I have been thinking that about your posts for quite a while. It is quite common for people to be more angry at crimes committed by outsiders than at crimes committed by their own people.
You keep wanting to compare the murders by all of the Taliban to the murders by one soldier, and you want to berate me about common sense?? lol Thats funny.
The people who own the property are muslim. There has been a muslim community center in that building for many, many years. Somehow you feel justified in denying these people the right to have a place of worship in a building that they own, solely because of their religion? Kinda goes against the first amendment there.
And just as an FYI, the fact that a majority of people polled are against something is meaningless. We are not a nation operating by mob rule.
But then, you can always kick all the muslims out of the country, huh?
When you enter into an argument, and the other person allows that you have a point, and you keep calling them stupid because they will not agree that your point is the only point, you are not debating. You are simply throwing a temper tantrum.
There is plenty of validity in your claim that the Taliban incited the riots. But to claim that this is the
only reason people are rioting or are angry is simply being obstinate or ignorant. You want it to be simple and in black & white. It is not.
