That's not the point here Grind. You have to identify yourself when you register to vote. What these bills are requring is that you provide additional identification at the time you vote.
The way it's done in Ohio is you have to provide your name, address, either your drivers license # or the last four digigs of your SS# and provide a signature. You have identified your self. When you arrive at your precinct to vote, you have to sign in, you signature is compared against the signature on copy at the precinct to assure it is your signature.
So the question here, is why all of a sudden does a photo ID become required when there has essentially been no problem with voter fraud?
