Impeach Obama if he wins again

because they want to drown this country in the bathtub after shrinking it.

The MONEY people in this country BACK Grover in his threats of primarying anyone who doesnt bow to their kings

Grover Norquist would HAVE no Power without the money people being behind him.

Think on that one for awhile

are you denying soros helped obama?

Not only did you avoid dealing with my previous point, but you'll either avoid this one or BS around it:

Please show valid, documented proof that Democratic Congressmen/Senators signed a "pledge" drawn up by Soros. If you can't, then your trying to make some comparison to Norquist is ridiculous.

Reality check:

Awlaki was identified by U.S. intelligence as "chief of external operations" for al Qaeda's Yemen branch. He has been documented doing many propaganda videos as part of that job. He had been documented running with the Al Qaeda folk in that region.

I understand the liberals getting all pissy because they fear abuse under the Patriot Act and subsequent laws to that effect....and I understand the neocons/teabaggers/libertarians just being against ANYTHING Obama does and thus hypocritically wail about something they previously praised the Shrub for. But the bottom line is once you start running with terrorist organizations that are doing harm to folk, and you avoid capture or direct battle field participation, you get a target on your back.

This is something that unfortunately is true. Why they listen to that jackoff so intently is beyond me. Especially if they are going to keep spending like drunken liberals.
You know Grover is another politician with a well deserved right wing reputation who I've met that I genuinely liked. He was erudite, informed, a good (and polite) conversationalist. He listened well, was completely charming and had a wry sense of humor. I met him back in the late 80's when I was still a Young Republican and he was all ready a national leader in Republican politics. He has an undeserved reputation of being a bag full of dirty trick power broker like Karl Rove, he's nothing like Rove. In fact he's a far more principled person then Mr. Rove. I bought into his agenda back then but Grover never was a knuckle dragger.

Another right wing politician I've met that I geniuninely liked and was impressed by him was John Ashcroft. Bush's first atty general. I met him when he was running for the Senate in MO. Mr. Ashcroft was extremely personable and had an impressive sense of humor. He liked to laugh and make other laugh and was very good at putting people at ease. I was still a Republican at the time but I was no longer a card carrying active member. Mr Ashcroft and I live in different worlds where our political beliefs are concerned but I can honestly say I came away from the meeting liking the man immensly. Wouldn't of voted for him in a million years but that was nothing personal. I just didn't share his beliefs. Still liked the guy though.

I guess that shows you just how poisonous politics can be if you take the crap in the media to seriously.

and you're still avoiding answering my question about soros. who cares about a pledge....help is help. you're throwing red herrings and i'm not biting.

Norquist would have NO power if he did not have the backing of the monied interests.

he would just be some guy.

But instead he is THE GUY because of vast amounts of money from wealthy people who dont want to pay any more taxes.

Its a really cheep deal for them.

It saves them big bucks to just drop a little cash on any R who doesnt sign and boom, they sign.

And thus we see the sheer stupidity that is Yurt. To try and negate the FACT that you have Senators/Congressmen sign a pledge to a lobbyist as to how they are to perform their duties INDEPENDENT of the oath they swore to uphold the Constitution and the execution of it's laws with regards to the constituents of their various states, Yurt says "help is help".

Now Yurt CANNOT produce ONE SHRED of valid, documented proof that Soros did anything but make a campaign contribution to the Obama campaign either through direct donation or fundraisers....and any media group/organization Soros owns or funds is just as legal as what Murdoch or Moon has, or who owns Clear Channel.

Bottom line: try as he might, Yurt CANNOT get past the FACT that there is NOTHING of comparison with the Democrats or the Obama administration to the blatant duplicitous allegience of the GOP politicos that signed Norquist's pledge. But Yurt will bluff and bluster and BS until doomsday before acknowledging that reality. Let's watch old Yurtle do the neocon shuffle, folks.

yes...because without a "pledge"...no dem congressperson or president will ever be beholden to lobbyist.

please...

btw...i never talked about the legality of what soros does. try to stay focused. there are very few, if any, politicians who are not beholden to lobbyist or wealthy scions like soros, koch brothers etc.... your dismisal attempt to make it out as if only the pubs engage in such practice is ludicrous at best.

btw taichi...what is unconstitutional about the norquist pledge?

hat you have Senators/Congressmen sign a pledge to a lobbyist as to how they are to perform their duties INDEPENDENT of the oath they swore to uphold the Constitution and the execution of it's laws with regards to the constituents of their various states,

explain how the pledge does anything you claim above.

What is it about George Soros that he is considered to be such a bogeyman, by the right? I really have difficulty understanding why he is so reviled. I also find it hard to understand why anybody would expect a multi-billionaire to not try to buy influence, surely that is the American way?
