Im likely to get a volt once my gas guzzler is off the road. Love that car.
What would have been the costs if GM had gone to the wall, not just in the US but Europe as well?
Nice volt BURN!The Volt is the most retarded car ever. It was a ~25 mile range (based on actual tests), but OMG it has a backup gasoline engine that delivers an extra 100 miles. Never mind the fact that the gasoline engine defeats the entire purpose of the vehicle.
What an absolute piece of shit car. If you really want a domestic electric car, consider the Ford Focus EV. It has a much better cooling system and you'll get around 100 miles from a charge.
The Volt is garbage. There are easier ways to legitimize your Messiah's shitty economic policies than dropping $45k on the modern equivalent of a Pinto.
i don't know and neither do you.

Nice rant other than being entirely wrong.
do you ever debate?

Shocking none of the libtards owns a volt. Not even rich fence repair boy! Typical libral though, he touts benefits of buying american! then buys his wife a Mercedes for the snobbish status symbol value.

What a fascinating thread.
Who is the rich fence repair boy again? I would be very interested in finding out how he got rich by repairing fences?
The car, after rebate cost 32.5, not 45. Your electric result was from a cold weather test, cold batteries perform poorly. That doens't make the car garbage.
As to the gas side, there is good logic behind this. The average american drives 12K miles a year, or well under 40 miles a day. Therefor in every day use mode, the Volt can run electric only for the average person, most of the time. If one were to need to drive further, though, they readily can using the gas engine charger. Even that you rated incorrectly at 100 miles, the actual range on gas only is 2.5 times that.
When an entire post is built upon gross exagaeration, it does little to bolster your point.
Where in the Consumer Report does it say anything about the test being performed in cold weather?
