As I stated, her PRINCIPAL is an idiot for demanding she apologize.

Brownback is f'in retarded for making this an issue. It was his office that called the Youth in Government program and bitched. That led to her school being contacted. That led to her principal making a stupid decision.

I honestly never thought I would run into a greater douche bag than you. But Brownback wins hands down. I can see monitoring social media for negative comments as you would want to get in front of anything that started to spread. But getting worked up because a high school girl didn't like him.... he went full retard... and you never go full retard.
 
Seems the Governor is the one who has now apologized for his staff's overreaction! This has really made him look bad. It has made the principle look bad. The girl is the only oe who has come up smelling like a rose in this matter.

Seems the governor's office should find more constructive
things to do than follow tweeters about the gov.

So it wasn't really Brownback demanding the apology. That's what I thought. Amazing how a story can get twisted by partisans on both sides with an ax to grind. Simply amazing.

I don't think it unwise to be following social media comments about a politician as you don't want false rumors spreading. That said, the reaction to this was beyond retarded. You are correct, he is really looking bad in this. He can blame his staff all he wants, but given his personality, I find it very hard to believe he wasn't standing behind whomever called the Youth in Government program and pouting while they conveyed the governors outrage at the teen.

Kinda like Newt's ex wife. If you listen to the liberals, she was dying of cancer in the hospital when he demanded a divorce. The truth is the divorce was her idea and she was in the hospital having a benign tumor removed and is alive.

2) I am from Kansas and I am very familiar with Brownback
3) The bulk of my family is still in KC
4) The girl in question goes to a school where my aunt teaches, my niece goes to a rival school in KC
5) Brownback is a little whiner when he thinks he is being 'attacked'.

As I stated, I am from KS, I have a lot of family still there, I am much more familiar with his tendencies than you are.

So do shut your ass about things which you clearly have no comprehension of. Because Brownback's staff did NOT call and whine without Brownback knowing they were going to do so. That is absurd. He is using them as a scapegoat due to the blowback he is getting.

Either Brownback knew about it or his staff thinks he's the type of guy that would want them to do what they did. Either way, not too flattering for Brownback.
