More & more history revision. Who were the thousands in the streets protesting the war in March of 2003? Who were all of those that you were saying were on the "wrong side of history" in the first months of invasion?

There were protesters for Libya. Most libbies I know where against Libya, and pretty vocal about it. I know that's a hard concept for you - ya know, since you go in lockstep w/ your party & all.

It's a matter of scale, though. Was Libya a massive ground invasion?

So as long as there is no ground invasion, the USA should just bomb nations that are no direct threat even after Obama promised he would never do that? Do you guys just make up rules as you go along?

No, I'm not dense. I can see hypocrisy when it's displayed right in front of me. Whether there was a ground invasion or not doesn't matter. It was a war and we were involved without any permission from congress (the people).

No, trust me - you're very dense. There is no hypocrisy. Personally, I have been against every armed conflict in my lifetime except for Afghanistan, including all of those under Clinton.

Libya was sanctioned by the UN hence was totally legitimate under international law.

Seems the logic is a little too confusing for onecell.....but you're absolutely right.....but we can only dumb it down so far to see if he will get the point.......

ILLEGAL under our law, because their was no threat and no reason to attack Libya, and no congressional approval.....but sanctioned by the UN.....

and Obama took us to war..... = ...... UN directed US foreign policy
