Nah. You've spun the same web of relentless apologism as bravs & Alias. Bush was just a bystander to invasion; once Congress voted, the gears of war were in motion, and there was nothing he could do!

Accountability is a rough one for you righties. Bush misled Congress & the public on several important levels - and not just "the Dems." The only person who is wholly responsible for the decision to invade was the decider himself, who doesn't deny it. He made the call. It was his war.

What in the world does "as approved by a majority of Congress" mean in this context? The decision was approved by a majority of Congress? Bush didn't even consult with members of his own admin on the decision to invade, much less Congress.

It's apologist spin. And I never really understand what that obligation to Bush that you all feel is; even he doesn't make the arguments that you make.

When the "war" started, it was legit and when the cease fire was ended; it was still a legit war from when it began.

How could Bush mislead congress when many Democrat leaders were speaking of regime change and stopping Saddam's WMD program before Bush was President?

I guess poor VP Cheney was agast when he heard about the invasion....
and the majority in Congress didn't have a clue what they voted on....didn't know that "Authorization to Use Military Force" meant war.....a simple three letter word and they
didn't know the definition.....

the lefties ranted and raved that Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld planed the whole Iraq War 4 seconds after Bush was inaugurated....how can both be true if Bush didn't consult anyone....

I guess BDS demands that whatever the pinheads say at any given moment is true....

Blix inspected Iraq in 1998 and found nothing....yet the Democrats ranted about Saddams WMD before, during and well after 1998...Clinton included...is that odd ?
Even after the Cole bombing, Dems ranted about Saddam but quotes about OBL were zero from those same Dems, but they say they were on top of the AQ situation..is that odd ?

And Armitage was busy telling the press the names of CIA spies so guys like Scooter Libby could go to jail for it....
