Conservatives gotta love it....

Both are forms of protest. Which has been the more successful? Which has been more violent?

A lot of anarchists have joined the Occupy movement over time, muddling the message. I would guess that there are many in OWS who aren't thrilled w/ that - there are definitely 2 different schools of thought going on now (at least).

I would also say that the TEA movement was more moderate to begin with - much less partisan, and more common sense, but was quickly joined by more extremist elements on the right, as well. That isn't as visible, because the TEA folks don't gather in huge groups for months at a time. Also, anarchists probably have more of a penchant for violent activity by nature.

I would guess that you are correct. But I think the format of the protest is the mistake the OWS people made. Quite simply, they occupied parks for the most part. That just pisses people off and doesn't add anything to their message. They could have gone home each night and come back to protest (preferably after having showered) during the day. Otherwise it just turns into the messes we have seen. That scenario attracts the dumbasses of the world. Then the focus turns to the violence... rape, murder, drugs etc... and away from their message.

I think OWS had a couple of good points, but those are long gone in terms of being in the media spot light due to the transgressions of the morons who have hijacked the OWS movement.

Your close.....but the TEA movement was more moderate, less partisan, and more common sense, but was quickly joined by more extremist
elements on the right left, in order to sabotage the Tea Party message, and present racist, bigoted, and stupid messages to media as if they originated in the TP
