Based Chad
Was it me?
I also have a right to my religion. If I choose to follow a set of laws on top of those set by the more secular legislation, it is not up to you to choose that for me.
My position is:
1. We cannot let our courts use Sharia to make decisions, it is against the constitution.
2. We cannot ban Sharia Law, it is against the constitution.
If you want to "ban" Sharia Law, then you will need a constitutional Amendment. If you want to use it in our courts, you will need a constitutional amendment.
If you choose to live by these rules, so long as you are not running afoul of our legislated criminal law, then you have every right to live by that code.
Your laws can be ON TOP OF the laws of the country, as long as they don't CONFLICT WITH the secular laws, which relate to many different parts of the constitution. Demanding to know "which part of the constitution...." just shows you're either stupid, or are consciously making a bad argument because you think everyone else is stupid.
