Try and keep up...if he initially claimed he didn't remember any sexual harassment complaint...then he later claims he DOES remember, that renders his initial statement, however truthful when first spoken, wrong.

But that's not the point and stop trying to move the goalposts.

YOU claimed that Cain didn't change his story despite the fact he's recanted his initial statement that he didn't recall any alleged harassment and now claims he does remember.

how many times do i have to explain this simple concept to you. if you asked me something right now and i said, i don't remember. and then i remember tomorrow, that does not make my statement that RIGHT NOW i don't remember wrong. and when i do remember LATER that does not change the fact that right now i don't remember.

The discussion doesn't concern whether or not he was wrong when he made his initial statement...the discussion is about you claiming he didn't CHANGE HIS STORY.

person A: how old were you when you learned algebra?
person B: i don't remember

a day goes by

person B: i remember, i was 13

zappa would claim that person B changed his story, when the truth is, nothing changed, except he now remembers his age. his first statement is unchanged, because at the time he did not remember.

hopefully this will finally sink in for zappa, though i don't hold out much hope.
