US Taxpayers fund jobs in Finland.... thanks OBAMA!

That's awesome. Aren't you leaving out a few pertinent facts? And it looks like you don't understand what outsourcing is.

Most people aren't going to buy any electric car. The people that buy electric cars these days are people with money. The benefit to taxpayers in lending money to these ventures is the development of the technology than can later be used to expand the electric car market to lower price points.

Its awesome to watch the pinhead apologists spin ....shows us what loons they really are....

ROFLMAO.... tell us genius... does the above mean you support more nuclear plants? Or would you prefer we use the 'environmentally friendly' coal power plants?

Or do you have some new magical way to produce the electricity?

Solar and natural gas.

Save you money and maybe someday you be able to afford a real car... I have an acquaintance on welfare that has better wheels....

Well, I do have one similar to this for rainy days. Different color.

What are you driving?

The fact that a known LIAR is involved should actually be a cause of concern for tax payers. We all know Gore has lost all credibility, especially when it comes to issues involving alt energy.

Only in your most fervent dreams

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Solar and natural gas.

ROFLMAO.... so... fracking for nat gas production to use for nat gas cars = bad

but fracking for nat gas production to produce electricity that can in turn be used to charge electric cars = good?

and no, solar is nowhere near ready to produce the electricity demands of electric cars.

i miss the good ol' coal days. everything should be run by coal, including my truck.

Buy a plug in electric car and odds are good that it will be running on coal.

Pushing coal burning electric plants to switch to natural gas is very low hanging fruit, with great reward especialy when coupled with a dramatic rise in electric car use.

didn't you JUST say "Natural gas "fracking" is even more enviromentaly unsound."

We are already ready for electric cars. Present electrical demand is higher in the day, while most charging would occur at night. This works very well for power companies, balancing the load. Solar production is being installed continuously and at an accelerating rate, far faster than the rate of production of electric cars.

Older, less efficient (and hence dirtier) coal burning plants are often kept idling continuously as standby units only. Many of them are already piped for gas.
A massive gas pipeline is being built across Alaska and Canada to supply natural gas to the U.S. from existing wells.
