Stating that I think nat gas is the better long term approach vs. electric doesn't change that either.
I addressed your "answer" in post #20.
Drilling is ten years minimum from permit to production. Drilling is proven to be unsafe enviromentaly with present technology.
Natural gas "fracking" is even more enviromentaly unsound.

any means of acquring natural resources for energy use is going to come with a risk. it should be a generally acceptable risk if we wish to continue to improve technologically.

I know it's difficult for some to think things through but it doesn't do much good if one has to return home. The weather does change throughout the day unless one lives in the desert.
Hey, I'm all for an electric sports car. Currently I'm driving a car like this. Same year, different color.
After purchasing it I found out it's known for it's electrical problems. The company which made it's electrical components, Lucas, is known as "The Prince of Darkness." That just about says it all.
Save you money and maybe someday you be able to afford a real car... I have an acquaintance on welfare that has better wheels....
