I was shocked when he said in a post that he had kids. This guy is sounding more like a teenager every day. Either I'm getting smarter or he's getting dumber. I feel sorry for his kids.

Again, the difference is, Christianity doesn't LIE to its followers and tell them Abraham was the perfect Christian. The Christian faith is therefore, not based on that lie and misconception, Islam is.... see the difference?

Yes it is, and it doesn't matter how much you stomp your feet. Islam was specifically organized as a religion to counter Judaism, and the root principles of Islam is the elimination of the Jews. It is a direct perversion of the Jewish (and Christian) understanding of the God of Abraham, who is a different God than what Muslims believe in as Allah.

What non believers do not understand is that connecting Christ through the Jewish line of male genealogy is essential to establish rights of heritage. Joseph was not Christ's biological father, but as his adopted son he bestowed onto Jesus legal rights of inheritance according Jewish law and custom. Mathew's genealogy is careful to make clear that Jesus was not the "begotten" heir of Joseph, but he was his legal heir. This is important because through this legal right was the right to claim David's throne. Mary, can also be traced back to Abraham...but more importantly to Adam and to God's promise in Genesis 3:15- "And I will put enmity (division) between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." So Christ being the seed that has been sent had the power and the authority to crush sin. More interesting is that both Joseph and Mary were of priestly lineage as well. This secured for Christ the ability to be Prophet; Priest; and King.
