Obama Said to Seek $300 Billion Jobs Stimulus Package

how so? you keep throwing this out as if it proves you right. but it doesn't. we lost jobs, we didn't add jobs. hence the "saved or created" obama catch phrase. i also provided a study that said we lost jobs, how funny you ignore that.

That's incredible.

How is it that you keep discussing the economy on this board, without understanding something so basic?

translation:

i can't explain it either, so i will just ad hom because i don't know what i'm talking about

Um, no. I understand what a baseline is. But it's good to hear you admit that you don't.

Again - why are you discussing economic issues?

Has nothing to do with being omniscient you dolt. It has to do with knowing your standard apologetic response and continual parroting of your masters talking points.

FARGLE BARGLE.

1) The Obama care was made law at the end of March
2) Keep in mind dipshit, the assessment of WHAT was in the bill and how it would affect business didn't happen over night. Kind of hard to do with a 2000 page monstrosity. But what happened once people dug into the bill and found out what was in it? 60k jobs per month. As I said, that is anemic job growth and pathetic.

So no one could figure it out until June? That makes a lot of sense.

You have baseline issues and your study really is a genuine piece of shit. The methodologies used are somewhat less than rigorous. Just google it for God's sake and ignore the right-wing knuckleheads.

lmao. iow, you will only accept studies whose opinions are in line with yours. hack.

and you still can't explain WHY i have baseline issues. nice catchphrase though, your sidekick onceler is now using it instead of debating as well.

Great, you've shown that perhaps a reasonable estimate for the number of jobs lost in the absence of the stimulus is about 10.6 million. Congrats!

you really don't get it do you....your stats are nothing but estimates and the reality is that your stats are false. as the study i linked to show. but since the study does not comport with your world view, you will attack it as not credible, instead of attacking their findings. hack

So, your argument is that there is no way the stimulus could have added jobs, because jobs were lost during that time as well?

Got it.

i have no doubt the stimulus added jobs. i never claimed otherwise. but you, as usual are dishonest and lie about what i said. the stimulus added some jobs, but not the amount the claimed by you or david st. hubris. you can't even be bothered to support your claim, your buddy hubris had to get a link because his sidekick is incapable of remaining rational and sticking to the topic.

if i said i brought home $1000 this month, but i spent $2000 this month, i wouldn't run around bragging about how i made money this month. i'm sure this logic is far above your simple understanding.

How do you know it wasn't the amount I claimed? You haven't checked the CBO, recovery.org or any other site. Your only argument has been that the stimulus couldn't have added that many jobs, because the unemployment rate has remained high.

It's embarassing....

Why did the trillion dollar stimulus lack punch, look at your local gov DMV. Is that who you want to invest in.
Comrade Obama does.

still can't find a link to support your claim, well according to you, that makes you a liar.

good job little buddy.

I told you a few sources where you can actually get facts, instead of the lack of information you usually base your "debating" on.

You have no idea how many jobs were created by the stimulus. Yet you still call my #'s "wrong".

Why not just look it up, and not let it remain a mystery? It's what most people who want to talk intelligently about a subject would do.

why not provide the link and show us all how right you are? if i make a claim, i back it up. it is what most intelligent people do.
