Obama Said to Seek $300 Billion Jobs Stimulus Package

irrelevant, you proved your hypocrisy. you want others to produce links when you think they are wrong, but now, you won't produce a link when others think you're wrong. and now you believe you get to ask why they think you're wrong.

you're so petulant.

How is that irrelevant? You have no facts at your disposal, and that is clear.

I think people are wrong because I know what the facts are - that's generally when I ask them to back it up, because I know they're wrong.

You don't know I'm wrong. In fact, I'm right, and you don't know the facts.

Thanks.

oh ok, so now you have to lie. i do know you're wrong. at least nigel produced a link. he stepped up and kept the debate alive, unlike you who loves to derail threads with your petulant bullshit.

anyway, back to the thread topic

LMAO..... so tell me.... did you also laugh at Obama and every prominent Democrat who told us how we were in the 'summer of recovery' in 2010???? No, you didn't.... you were parroting that line right along side your masters.

Yes, I did.

Side note moron.... that was THREE months (thanks for demonstrating your lack of math skills) and it was 927k jobs added. The sum total of jobs added in the private sector since the stimulus is 678k (starting in July 2009.... talking private sector)

The Affordable Care Act was signed into law in March 2010. The US lost jobs in January and February of 2010. March and April 2010 were positive. I gave you April because I'm nice like that. In reality, your "recovery" consists of one month of positive employment. Like I said, hilarious.

You know I'm wrong? How can that be when I'm right?

You have no idea how many jobs the stimulus created. Most of them are documented, though - and I'm guessing you haven't looked even one place where they are documented.

You're just shooting from the hip, as always. I know you have read on this board that "no jobs were created," but that's just from the rightie parrotts.

You should really do your own research.

HILARIOUS..... so you post a 'Highlight' of what the stimulus did in 2010 that shows GDP at 3.4%, holding unemployment down by 1.5% and adding 2.7 million jobs???

You got that from a paper published in JULY 2010.

We now know that GDP did not go up by 3.4%, we know that unemployment remained over 9.6% for the remainder of the year and we know that we did not add 2.7 million jobs.

The GOP approved of government stimulus before a Black man became president.

Yes, I did.

Bullshit. You went right along chirping the party line of recovery.

Dumbass. I was giving YOU the benefit of the doubt. The RECOVERY was three months (March-May of 2010). My point is that Obamacare KILLED the desire to hire. Hence that would not have occurred until AFTER Obamacare was passed into law. Hence the recovery (again almost 1mm jobs added in those three months.... more than what happened SINCE Obamacare combined) began to blow up after Obama care was enacted. Right as your messiah was preaching about the summer of recovery.

Actually, we don't know that. Perhaps you have an alternative estimate of the impact of the stimulus on GDP, the unemployment rate and jobs. If so, please provide it at your earliest convenience.

Bullshit. You went right along chirping the party line of recovery.

Right. Superfreak the Omniscient. I forgot who I was dealing with for a second.

But Obamacare was made law in March 2010. April and May are on my side of the ledger, not yours. According to you, Obamacare killed jobs, but the immediate impact was strongly positive. Weird.

Keep it up, hotshot!

Our benchmark point estimates suggest that the ARRA created/saved approximately 450 thou-
sand state and local government jobs and destroyed/forestalled roughly one million private sector
jobs. State and local government jobs were saved because ARRA funds were largely used to o -
set state revenue shortfalls and Medicaid increases rather than boost private sector employment.
The majority of destroyed/forestalled jobs were in growth industries including health, education,
professional and business services

Has nothing to do with being omniscient you dolt. It has to do with knowing your standard apologetic response and continual parroting of your masters talking points.

1) The Obama care was made law at the end of March
2) Keep in mind dipshit, the assessment of WHAT was in the bill and how it would affect business didn't happen over night. Kind of hard to do with a 2000 page monstrosity. But what happened once people dug into the bill and found out what was in it? 60k jobs per month. As I said, that is anemic job growth and pathetic.

It does when you use the appropriate baseline. You aren't. Hence, your baseline issues.

how so? you keep throwing this out as if it proves you right. but it doesn't. we lost jobs, we didn't add jobs. hence the "saved or created" obama catch phrase. i also provided a study that said we lost jobs, how funny you ignore that.
