Why was it an opinion when I posted that waterboarding is torture, but it's fact when you post that it's not?

I never claimed my opinion on water boarding is fact. I claimed your opinion is not fact. Further I claimed that water boarding led to the eventual killing of bin Laden and that you have no facts to prove that actual torture where mutilations are inflicted would have done the same. I also claimed that there is a seamless transition in my ethics and assert that your being supportive of killing a terrorist in an assassination and against pouring water on their face, is not seamless and in fact, demonstrates an odd cognizant dissonance.

not hours, or days, or weeks...but over years....a clue in 1990 leads to a clue in 2000 which leads to a suspect in 2004 and then to a conclusion in 2006 or whatever....
