Where i live you can't own land. I have an agreement with the state for the home that i live in. It is a life lease agreement. This is very confusing. Do you live in a hippie commune or something?

What i meant is that they can't buy the land. It was a misstatement above. They can buy a home. They can afford one. Home are rarely purchased here though. so it is not the same as the US. The terms are very different.A few minutes ago, you said this: "They can't buy there house but that is another discussion."
Now, you say this: "They can purchase a home and have it built yes."
*Sniff, sniff* I smell bullshit.

Why would you kill yourself. To have a home i don't have to pay a real estate agent. i don't pay interest on the loan. I didn't pay closing costs. I didn't need an attorney.I would kill myself.
I like it. i am happy and the people that live around me are happy as well. i am getting used to it i have lived here less than a year. The weather sucks. It snows boat loads and gets very cold. It is fish heaven though if you like fish.Wow, sounds like the epitome of freedom...
I asked that question as to why that poster said that with no explanation. I would not ask that now because i see that that poster answers many questions the same way.Whoa, hold on... a few minutes ago you said people can buy/build houses. I am very confused.
Earlier you asked why drugs are bad. The answer resides in your own contradictory, bizarre remarks.

The major city i am nearest too is only 8M people. How is not being able to buy a home oppression? I understand that that is what you know and what you grew up with as i did. But I can't imagine that it sounds oppressive.Seriously, if you oppress me long enough like that, I would fucking kill myself!! Or move somewhere else... I doubt there are enough people to organize a proper revolution and whatnot.
I agree with 3D. I'd just as soon shoot myself in the mouth before I'd live on government land. To do otherwise would compromise my dignity as a man.
It is a very different way to live. That is why sometimes i lack the words to explain things on property ownership the terms and concepts don't match up. If you were to rent a place you would rent from the owner. Here it is a rent to the state. The rent goes toward roads and street lights and so on. It is more like your real estate taxes then actual rent.I always laugh at my leftist friends because I think we all understand that I am a simple guy. I am emotionally better equipped than most of them to live under a socialist regime, and be contented. I'm like, you guys would be miserable as hell, but I would see far less changes occurring in my personal life. Some of them have big dreams and are entrepreneurs. I'm also spiteful and vindictive enough to sort of wish we could see such retribution come about.
There really was never any true Communist nation. There still isn't. I agree with you on the way thoughts have changed since 1900. Many people would be burned at the stake for what is done today. I also agree that many national leaders should be ousted by their people. Not other nations. There are places where the people should say enough is enough. The biggest tragedy left over from the 20th Century is that the radical monstrosities that were Nazism, Communism, and Fascism altered the Western mind as to the true meaning of radicalism. To call a thing radical before 1900, the degree of separation from the mainstream did not have to be great indeed in order for it to be called radical. Now, in the early 21st Century, a government literally has to be killing its people before it earns the radical label.
