Obama: Most people confident he was born in Hawaii

Ain't that the truth. It was supposed to be a Whitewater investigation and the SOB threw in everything but the kitchen sink. And for what? Clinton came out of it with his approval ratings high, and Starr and the repubs looked like idiots.

On second thought, maybe the GOP should push the birther issue hard. They'll get their @sses handed to them and Obama will be a shoo-in for another term.

Thing of it is, the GOP isn't pushing this.

ROFL @ incurrious. Educated people are not incurrious, they have common sense.

The fucking CIA & the FBI would not sit by and let a muslim born in Kenya hoodwind you dumbasses.

But please incurious is a new laugh a minute birthercentric kick me teeshirt

I thought the same thing. His movement is led by rabid partisans who simply want Obama out of office, but Damo has a deft way of turning the perception. Or at least trying to.

entertainment for the 90% who are not UFO type crazy.

NO the GOP is not pushing it, but they damn sure are not putting an end to it either.
I have seen several of them get on thier knees to give birthers a ball tickle (ie lend a little credence to get the birther vote).

I love the way the left actually believes that Trump is the "face of the GOP" or something. He's had zero leadership positions, never ran for office and has never been associated with the GOP. He has almost no association with the GOP other than this sudden interest in running. Most people think of him as the dude who says "You're Fired!" on TV.

I personally believe that he's doing this to drop and put his weight behind one of the serious contenders later. But that is just my opinion.

I think he is doing it for higher ratings for his show. He wanted to announce his running on the show and the network said "no"

I agree with you, he won't run, but he will try to be a heavy weight supporter.

I do think he'll announce and be in the Primaries for a bit, then drop and put his support behind either Romney or Christie (if Christie runs). That's my prediction.

Yeah, I remember. When this is the defense rather than a real explanation I pause and think. Rove's and Coulter's "Evidence" is that HillBillary would have vetted him, O'Reilley's, he makes up stuff like saying his Father lived in Connecticut (just the other night) when he absolutely never did, or that you couldn't get a birth announcement in the newspaper by simply reporting a birth (you could). (He was trying to explain the SSN when he just flat made up stuff).

Obama's father left when he was two, and Obama only saw him one more time, when he was eleven. My position is that everything he knew about his father came from other people. Did Obama actually write or say his dad came from CT, or is that just another O'Reilly lie?

Then I look at the fact that HillBillary's campaign wasn't even able to figure out that Edwards had a pregnant paramour while "crazy" newspapers like the Enquirer could and realize that this idea that HillBillary would have figured it out for them is a bit strange and a bit surreal.

Seriously, the belief in the perfection of some Republican machine is a bit odd.

Yeah, I think it is possible that some people are deliberately incurious because they fear the same kind of scrutiny in their lives, some are incurious because they fear what it would do to the nation... I definitely think it is possible that the republicans are not paying attention to this because the power elite tell them not to.

I'm very curious about the issue but in a different direction than yours. I've checked out all the stories and there is still not a single piece of hard evidence to show Obama wasn't born in Hawaii. Give me something, anything to prove the point. All we're getting is theories and suppositions. The way I see it is that birthers concluded Obama is illegal and are fitting their evidence around that conclusion. Every time we (pl.) bring up something in Obama's favor, birthers answer the point with conjecture and assumption, not facts. That's what annoys me most about this.

So, you think Christie might still be a contender, even though he threatened suicide to prove he wouldn't run?

I would use that against him, if he does, right out of the gate, we wouldn't be able to trust him, because he promises one thing, and does another. I think we have had anough of those kinds in office, already, including President Obama. I know it is part of the game of campaigning, but it just gets old!!!

I think it is too little too late and as I have always said, of there was anything to this the McCain/Palin ticket would have found it and used it! I think this will go the way of the "it wasn't a plane that crashed into the Pentagon" theory.

1. Obama didn't live in Hawaii until after he was two. His mother lived in Washington state attending college until then. (You can actually access those records). The "happy family" scenario you've been fed is a fake story. No, Obama never has claimed his father lived in Connecticut. He went to Harvard, in Massachusetts.. O'Reilly is just making crap up, making stuff up that even Obama hasn't stated.
2. You don't prove a negative, you prove a positive. Show the real thing, this goes away for 99.9% of the 40% that are unsure (or think he was born elsewhere) and 18% that are curious and just "don't know".

The SSN is enough to give me pause, there has been zero explanation for it. The Number was issued in 1977, 12 years after his father moved to Kenya. Pretending that he somehow got it through his father while he lived in Connecticut is preposterous. O'Reilly is an idiot for flat making stuff up.

But what you refuse to acknowledge to everyone is that Obama HAS ALREADY PROVEN he's a citizen.

His Birth Certificate has been seen, verified and authenticated by those required to do so.

Angry foot stamping by those who refuse to believe the facts unless they PERSONALLY get to verify the document is just more petulant whining.

but it's great comedy for an educated bafoon like damo to claim he never lived in Hawaii till he was two when he was born there. Damo is a jesus freak and as such believes in comic books, maybe he believes in alians & UFO's too. We can only hope.

40% of riechwingers, show me a link 40% of normal people question. No way he wins with 40% doubting citizenship. Somebody did a nice snowjob on you.

It is absolutely hilarious to watch the nutjobs try and legitimize this.

Hey...how come Damo isn't whining about not being able to personally inspect Lewinsky's blue dress to confirm that the DNA is in fact Bill Clinton's?

He took someone's word in that instance...

otherwise smart people (damo) can get all emotional when the start cooking with the party talking points instead of salt. It simers they smell it, they listen to fox and get confermation from Oriely or Hannity. BAM!!! a new UFO believer is born
