The Mega-Rich Have Declared War Against Ordinary Americans

And neither have you. The evidence is clear the wealth disparity in our country parallels the Gilded Age. But, not only are the top 1% gaining more and more of the wealth, they have been able to buy lawmakers and create a feeding frenzy on the middle class and poor.
Again, if the OP is pointless, why should I be the first to contribute?

So Dune, since you're busily preparing for the next revolution perhaps you'll be able to answer something for me. Who do you intend to have finance your fight? It costs money after all, and since you seem to be against personal wealth, it would seem difficult to me to raise the funds necessary. Especially when your opposition would be vastly more able to raise the funds they need.

So the power of the oligarchy is a moral argument in favor of the power of the oligarchy then? nice circular logic there, brainwashed one.

It is not pointless. You can argue motives, but you can't ignore the evidence.

From the end of the Civil War to the beginning of the 20th century was aptly called the Gilded Age. Corruption and dishonesty of the wealthy and the corporations was unregulated and had almost complete control of government. And the wealth disparity in America reflected those conditions.

We are now living in the NEW Gilded Age.

The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Cliché, sure, but it's also more true than at any time since the Gilded Age.

The poor are getting poorer, wages are falling behind inflation, and social mobility is at an all-time low.

If you're in that top 1%, life is grand.

You sir, are in denial.

You honestly believe the United States is on the verge of a workers revolution? If you, so are just as retarded as Kenneth. For one thing, the conditions of the "poor" in the United States cannot be compared to that of pre-revolutionary Russia. Our "poor" people have cars, computers, TVs, plenty of food, and a warm place to live. Russia's poor were serfs who owned nothing, save the clothes on their back. I recommend you read a little history before you embarrass yourself any further.

Well, instead of bemoaning the fact, why not do what the 1% do and become rich?

They can't respond to the evidence because they believe in the conservative plan-destroy American society and democracy for personal/international corporate gain, make America an oligarchy while driving 99% of the population into poverty. The only problem is the radicals here don't believe they are in the 99% and they will somehow prosper.

Out of all the posts on this thread not one radical conservative fascist here disputed any of Ken's points. As usual they attack the messenger.
Just keep you hands over your eyes and ears and mouths just like the obedient little monkeys you've been conditioned to be.

Revolution against the takeover of our govt by international corporate and communist interests? In order for the U.S. to survive it has to happen. If not, say hello to more American fascism. Obama had better find his shoes and start walking with the working people in this country or he's toast too.

Teabaggers are starting to regret their voting decision, they're starting to realize conservatives don't give a shit about jobs unless those jobs are created in China and instead of taxing Bush's Base they are attacking the rights of working people and their children. I'm hoping there will be a huge backlash against the current rise of fascism, if not the poverty conservatives want to impose on Americans will lead to revolution.

??? WTF?

Your wife is likely as stupid as you are. The sad part of a revolution is the inocents that die, ask your wife, she should know.

A socialist politician is worse than a serial killing pedophile.

A socialist is a lazy, good for nothing thief. Like you.

I don't think we are on the verge, but I think we are dangerously close. Just your post shows how out of touch some people are with the current situation of the poor. What you decribed is the lower middle class. The poor MAY have SOME of the things you describe. Many poor people choose from week to week, between food, heat, medication etc. The amount of people in a similar plight to those russians is growing at at alarming rate. The idea that every or even most poor people have a car is laughable.

Just wait until all the GOP cuts become reality and the job loss starts to occur from these cuts!

We ain't seen nothun, yet!

You don't decide. You're not even old enough to understand what I'm talking about. Terms like cost externalization and regulatory capture aren't taught in kindergarten. Stick to your ONLY tactic...chest beating and name calling.

Well,,, I might as well get my two cents in.

You're one of the real shit for brains around here.

I wish we could send you back to North Korea.
